5 month old dog leaking

hi whenever we come home after about 6 or more hours away from our pup or just let him inside for the night he gets so excited that he leaks a little pee. Is this normal if so when will it stop.

Some dogs do that. It's most likely he will outgrow it. Is it possible for him to greet you outside? Another trick could be to ignore him for 10 minutes when you first come home. Do that consistently and he will learn that it's not THE most exciting thing in the world. That alsoo helps with jumping up

oh, i think its excited piddle! a lot of dogs do that, on of the dogs my mom has does that every time i go home to visit. she has to let them outside to see me when i first get home cause he piddles. and my puppy used to do it, but he has stopped now. my moms dog is like 9 though and he still does it. so who knows!
