they are lil cuties... they are both girls. and we are trying to figure out names for them. does anyone know what they should weigh roughly so i can start keeping track? i was told they are husky/pit or terrier mix if that helps.

i am not sure on the weight. The important factor will be to watch for dehydration. They look pretty darn good in the photo. Poor babies, I am so glad your taking them in. The look like beautiful little girls. As long as they are passing urine and stool, and the skin goes back quickly when pinched lightly, they should be fine.

they seem to be passing ok. they needed a little help at first, but on their second movement they did it all on their own. it seems a little mucousy though, is that normal?

Hope you post a lot of pics. I have bottle fed a lot of babies. The last 2 were squirrels. IT's been a long time since I have seen a newborn and how fast they grow.
