I wonder when she got sick if anyone stepped in to help her !! Terrible situation ! Yes, too many dogs ... horrible . If she was breeding, shame on her ,. If she was trying to rescue ,shame on those who didn't help her ! At her age ( mine ) , she may have gone overboard and it's the dogs who suffered. I saw this on tv the other night its terrible, I think she was a hoarder, but obviously it all became too much for her, she probably started off with less than half of that than they continued to breed, the fact that there were puppies there 6 found dead, and another litter just 2 days old laying in all that rubbish trying to feed of their emaciated mother, it is all just very sad. lets hope most of them can be saved and found good homes.

Yep - that is a tabloid website that is known the be quite elaborate with the truth - ie, don't trust it.

I don't think she was your run of the mill "breeder" - I think she was crackers. You see it - old ladies with hundreds of cats - they really think they are doing them a favour.

It doesn't excuse anything. But perhaps the people who KNEW and didn't do anything are worse?

Thanks for the update, hopefully they will all recieve loving homes. I can't believe the only reason they were found was because the woman died, then again thats better than not been found at all.

Geeeezzzz !!!! I wish there was more control !!!! If any breeder had to pay fees there would be at least 50 % fewer !! I was called a D*mb @ss by many for yearly paying more for dog taxes for un spade and neutered dogs. I may have been the only one in the County to pay. It was the principle to me.

It really is such a horrific and sad story. Those poor Babies. Thank God they were found. Pray they all do well and find loving homes.
