Hi All,
I'm new here and have been lurking for a few weeks. I promise I'll post an intro post later.

I work with a local border collie rescue and we've been asked to help with a situation in TX involving 200 border collies being released from a former breeding situation.

The rescue is in desperate need of assistance in order to help these dogs. They are in need of foster homes, monetary donations and transport assistance. We will gladly take any assistance you can offer though!

If you can help in ANY way please contact www.allbordercollierescue.com Their email is at the bottom of the info page.

Thank you so much for anything you can do!

Sara

Oh my gosh, it's times like these that I SO wish I had my own place. I'd adopt one of them in a heartbeat.

Too bad Texas is so far, I wouldn't be surprised if the BC rescue here would take a handful of them.

Thanks guys.
We are arranging transport all across the country, we have a few rescues on the East Coast who have stepped up to help, so if you are involved in any rescue group that might be able to help, please don't hesitate to contact ABC rescue. I agree though that Canada may be a bit tricky.

Please pass the word along to anyone you know and when I get more info, I'll be sure to share it here. From the sounds of things most of the dogs are really nice but starved for attention. They are suspected to be all purebred and come from imported lines. Of course there are no records or health guarantees. Our group has offered to take on a couple pregnant females but there are more out there.

Thanks guys!
Sara

Edited to add that it looks like they are trying to get all the dogs out by Friday. There is some family drama going on and while everything is legal and legit, the rescues are hoping to be out with the dogs before that starts.

Some more links to more information and sites where you can help:

Again, ANY help you can offer will be appreciated. All Border collie Rescue has information on their site as well. Thank you so much
