Is 14 weeks a problem age? i recall reading some past threads here, where previously well behaved pups sort of regressed at this age...well, Tink's 14 weeks, and guess what? She's regressing with her housetraining...
From what I can remember, this happens sometimes, right? She wouldn't go in the house a couple of weeks ago, but this week, oy! accidents daily! This a.m. I opened the crate, instead of waiting to say "hi" to me, she took off for the back door, and was peeing on the mat when I caught up to her...
of course I stopped her,and brought her out, where she did more business to a bunch of praise...
back to basics for a while? I'm thinking a little less of that new freedom, back to early pup days till she gets it?
In other ways, her behavior is improving,as far as being acccepting of kids and people fussing at her...she's developing a lot of patience, which is good. Also made frinds with a few big dogs, just took her a little while to settle down- I'm also learning to hide all paper from her, if she can get some, boy, shredded papers all over the house! I should rent her out to businesses, she can be a paper shredder...
