11 wk old sick pup

I have an 11 week old puppy, who eats and drinks well, has had all her shots and worming medicine, she is very active, but once in a while, maybe every other day/ every day she throws up once, and its not foamy just partially digested food. Any ideas?

Could be a food sensitivity or a number of other things. I agree, ask your vet!

In the mean time, be sure that you are feeding a quality food and that you are not over-feeding.

11 weeks is pretty darn young so it could be a number of anything.. you might try boiling up some hamburger and rice (drain fat off of hamburger) then add to prepared rice, and feed a little bit of it at a time .See if that stays down. If there is no odor (as in rotten blood) and it isn't foamy it might be that she is gulping down her food to fast. I hope that is all it is. Good luck and please come back and let us know.

Has the puppy been checked for Megaesophagus? With mild cases some food sits in the esophagus, then regurges not long after. It will look like the food she just ate. You also wont see convulsive vomiting from the stomach, it just comes out. Let us know how you are!
