I am so sorry for your loss I just feel horrible for you... However, I am also so angry at whomever sold you this pup that was soooo sick. You never did mention where this pup came from, did you get Coby from a breeder or a pet store?

Unfortunately, a pet store. This was my first dog - I got married 2 months ago and wanted a Puggle but could not find a breeder in our area. I was unaware of what goes on with these pet stores. I would always here people say not to buy from a pet store but I never new why. I will never purchase a dog from a pet store again and I am going to try my hardest to make others are aware of what goes on.

I myself purchased our first yorkie from a petstore prior to knowing about BYB's and puppymills. Since then I have adopted/rescued 2 seniors and a puppy (that came from a petstore that the person didn't want).. I have done everything I can to educate as many people as I can since then... You seriously need to get out your paperwork and see what recourses you have against this petstore. There is another forum I am on called nopuppymills.com and the women on there can do a petstore puppy research and see if anything else comes up on this store.. Please stop by and fill out a form these people are awesome and really can help you.

How do I contact the person to find out?

You really deserve a full refund. It doesn't make the pain of your loss go away, but the pet store is responsible for this, not you. I feel so bad for this pup. I worked at a vet clinic for a long time and every pet store puppy we saw had something seriously wrong with it. I am just so sick of pet stores getting away with this!

Amen Showpug... Everytime I go into the petstore where Cocoa was purchased I also take No Puppymill Brochures in with me.. I don't hand them out but I hold them out for people to see and then I place them outside in the window where the puppies are. I would love to shut them all down but the demand by uneducated people (like myself at that time) is whats keeping that from happening.
