Here is my attempt!
....my dogs don't do anything naughty too often, so I tried to stage it...major fail, LOL. Bruno wouldn't lay down to pose, and Simba was worried about what was going on, so was giving me the most pathetic look.

Missed my chance multiple times! Today was a very busy day for us, so naturally Trent was worse than he ever was - chased the cat, ate a newly opened bag of seasoning for cooking (harmless for him, luckily), AND got into the bathroom trashcan.
And of course, I didn't have the camera ready. At least this is one dog who won't need to be framed!

Okay, now that I've recovered slightly from the cuteness overload, I can say I might have a hope without staging after all! I missed a chance today. Lucy was feeling enough like ther old self that I came out and found her with her head in my chip bag.
This is good news because although staging wouldn't be the worst thing, one of my goals for the 52 weeks is to be able to improve my ability to take better candids of my dogs.
Good thing we have a week.
Well, I just tried to stage the whole thing by having Trent put his paws up on the kitchen table (and he actually rarely ever counter surfs... he's only done it twice in his two years, even as a young puppy). The effect is not nearly the same. His face screamed "Mom, mom, mom, am I doing this weird position right? Amy I staying okay? Wow, look at me, mom, I'm pretty good! Wow, is this good, mom, is it?"
Of course he's Mr. Eager to Please when the camera comes out...
