Would love some input on FA

I had a woman bring in a cattle dog (mix?) pup today to the dog daycare I work for. The pup (maybe 4 or 5 months in age) passed our temperament test but as soon as she was left alone with us and integrated into the playgroup, she cowered in a corner and snarled/snapped at any other dog that...

    Infuriated over "pet modification"

Lol, that's similar to what the hubby said when he saw this one; "God, I wonder what else this guy throws his money away for?"

    Infuriated over "pet modification"

You've got a good point, but things that are done out of necessity (chipping, ID tats, etc.) are done with the intention of helping the animal. Making your pet endure a painful piercing and putting him at risk of injury should it get caught in something isn't the same at all. And risking...

    Infuriated over "pet modification"

I am in agreeance that farmers must use tags with their livestock, even a tattoo in the ear or similar. But not on a friggin' goldfish, man. There is absolutely no reason a dog should have a tat on its belly for aesthetic purposes. And earrings just seem dangerous...I keep imagining them...

    Acro-Cats and More! Pic Heavy!

We find that female white american shorthaired cats work better than most others. We aren't sure why, either. Its widely accepted in the feline performers' world that girls work far better than boys, but everyone seems to have their own breed/type preference.

You should! :D Its great enrichment for them, if you have a motivated cat. Pandora will ignore a plate full of tuna or broiled chicken put right in front of her in preference of working with me for just a sliver. Course...some cats will give you the you must be joking stare, lol. For...

    New cat

Have you named the little guy yet? He's too cute, definitely, with or without a full coat. ;) I love how you describe him as a chicken breast, that's exactly how I used to explain what my girlfriend's cat looks like when he gets a summer lion cut!
