This is a very interesting read. Our new pup has only gone out in the car twice, and both times he was restricted to the passenger side floor-board. However, we have a very large van, and I think I'm going to invest in a Petbuckle for him once he is a little larger. In the meantime, I think...

He does look a lot like a Greater Swiss Mt. Dog, at first I thought he was too small, but maybe he's just young. Thanks guys, we'll see how this little one develops as he gets older, maybe that will give more clues.

My little lab/mutt mixie just weighed in at 6 lbs 1oz at his 7 week check-up, the vet said he was just fine. He was a bit of a runt from his litter though, he was given de-wormer, but he doesn't appear to have any worms. He's still a little skinny around the hip area, I'm sure he'll fill-up soon.

Wow, both that kid and his dad would have been kicked out of my house so fast they wouldn't even know what happened to them. I have a 1 1/2 year old and a 4 year old, and they would never kick/pull/otherwise injure an animal. I can't believe what people allow their kids to get away with.
