How do these puppies do it???

The only thing I can get my 7 week old to do is sit on command, lol. Those people must spend day and night working with those puppies!

Solve the mistery of my dog's parentage!

No, don't think there's any border collie, at least it doesn't look it to me (wrong face and body structure).

Solve the mistery of my dog's parentage!

I saw that yesterday, maybe I'll save up some cash and get him tested, just out of curiosity :)

How do you guys take your puppies in the car?

This is a very interesting read. Our new pup has only gone out in the car twice, and both times he was restricted to the passenger side floor-board. However, we have a very large van, and I think I'm going to invest in a Petbuckle for him once he is a little larger. In the meantime, I think...

Solve the mistery of my dog's parentage!

He does look a lot like a Greater Swiss Mt. Dog, at first I thought he was too small, but maybe he's just young. Thanks guys, we'll see how this little one develops as he gets older, maybe that will give more clues.

8 pounds at 6 weeks, is that too skinny?

My little lab/mutt mixie just weighed in at 6 lbs 1oz at his 7 week check-up, the vet said he was just fine. He was a bit of a runt from his litter though, he was given de-wormer, but he doesn't appear to have any worms. He's still a little skinny around the hip area, I'm sure he'll fill-up soon.

Solve the mistery of my dog's parentage!

Yeah, dad looks too big boned to me to be an Aussie, his head is just totally the wrong shape as well :/ He is the mystery breed cross I guess, lol.

Solve the mistery of my dog's parentage!

Ok, we got Max a week ago, and he's absolutely adorable. However, when I got him, I was told he was an Aussie/Lab mix, which is cool. But then...I got a picture of mom and dad (I've actually seen mom in person, but not dad). And dad is most definitely not an Aussie. So help me out...what is my...

    Someone Kicked Lilly!

Wow, both that kid and his dad would have been kicked out of my house so fast they wouldn't even know what happened to them. I have a 1 1/2 year old and a 4 year old, and they would never kick/pull/otherwise injure an animal. I can't believe what people allow their kids to get away with.

    Help about disabling signatures?

If you download Firefox and use it as your browser, there is an ad-on to it called "adblock", it allows you to block graphics you don't want to see by simply right-clicking them and selecting to block them. They'll disappear and you'll never have to see them again, it also works on most...

    New sort of...

I've been lurking around for months now, just been a little intimidated to post. Now we have a pup of our own again, so I figured I'd take the leap and introduce myself. My name is Claudia, I'm 27, currently living in Washington state. My husband is in the Navy. When I lived in California a few...

    Teaching bite inhibition

We acquired a 6 week old Lab/Aussie mix, he was part of a 12 pup unwanted litter from a rescued bitch. The person who rescued the mom, just could not take care of her and all the pups. At 6 weeks she began to re-home them. I would normally not take in a dog so young away from the litter, but...

    Barbaro

Big cudos to his owners for giving him another chance at life. Many would have put him down without a second thought. Just goes to show that not all race horses need to be put down after such a catastrophic injury. He really is a great example of an animals will to live and thrive. Much luck to...
