I had a malamute wolf mix... he had a high prey drive. We could never have cats, small animals, or other male dogs around. He wasnt a high bred wolf, he only had a little in him. eough to make the prey drive known.

I agree. .. But from my experience all the goldens I see at the dog pack ect. are over weight... labs not so much. Labs tend to burn more energy then Goldens imho

my siberian huskly gets alone great with male dogs. females can be a touchy subject, but if introduced properly it is ok. My sibe always has to be dominant over other dogs... males usually give up with her.. other females usually wanna be dominant too... so thats why she somtimes buts...

ok first off I think Labs would be my choice. They come in alot different colors. I would get a chocolate lab with green eyes.. *drools* Or I would get a curly coated Retriever... they are so beautiful. I think Golden R's are a good choice too for a family dog. most tend to get obses...

I personally have never travelled out of country with my dogs. I would ask the vet, or even the airport for info. I live in canada and I am not aware of anything that has to be documanted, except the animal must have all his/her shots up to date. good luck.
