i used to have a lab/german shep mix who hated being in the house. my little shihtzu came inside though. i tried to get my scotty dog to come in, and the only time he would was when it was -50 and then only to the front porch.

why do they get sick in the car? i have a 3 year old silkshire who gets sick everywhere if he's in the car too long (sometimes that's a half hour, sometimes its 10 minutes). my vet suggested gravol 15- 20 minutes before we leave, and sometimes that works. is it nerves? motion sickness?
