So should I go one walk a day or just two shorter ones?

I don't really know how far we walk. But I'd imagine it's pretty far because we walk fast.

There's a dog park on the other side of town so I'll probably take him soon. Also there's something called "Mr. Manners dog training classes" at the local pet supply store but I don't know much about it so I'll probably either call or stop by to find out if he does puppies.

He was a part of an accidental litter and was dumped at a kill facilty. The next day the litter was picked up by a rescue and then I adopted him about two weeks ago. From what I saw, the only socialization that could've been happening was between him and his sisters and the lady from the rescue.

Well my problem is that although he is still young, I read that you're supposed to socialize your pup a lot before he's 16 weeks but I didn't adopt him until after that so I don't know if I'm too late and he won't socialize like a younger pup.

Thanks Saje, I hope you're right. German ShepherdLover, 9 times out of 10 he's really nice to people and loves to play. But occasionally he'll just lose it and start barking, even at people he's seen before. Then later he'll want to play with them. It's confusing.

It depends on the situation. Sometimes when we play in the house he goes nuts but usually during walks he's pretty calm. He even seems fine when he's near other dogs but then after he sniffs for a while he'll just start barking and I have to pull him away.

Yup, he was neutered on July 12.

And yes German ShepherdLover this is my first dog.
