Our eldest daughter, Rachel and her horse, Ireland's Jet. We bought Irish for Rachel when she was 14. He had been an abused, half starved 7 year old ranch horse headed for the meat packers and was so ugly that I wouldn't even take a photo of him for the 1st month (which I regret).... but even after all that he'd been through he had a gentle and trainable spirit. With proper excersize and feed he became a very beautiful showjumper who was rarely out of the ribbons. This photo was taken about 4 years after we'd purchased him.
