Oh gosh! I missed this. I'm very happy for you that everything is working out. I agree that he was probably trying to be very conscientious. It is normal to have cold feet. And yes, he'll totally adjust I bet after he falls head over heels in love with the puppy. Can't wait for pictures!

I have two dogs & want more but OH says not until we have a place of our own (YEARS into the future... soooooo hard to wait :/) something i reluctantly agree with (i love dogs, & i lovee rescuing dogs & want to rescue more, my heart aches for all of the dogs i share on facebook that are marked on the EU list at their shelters & i know i cant to anything about it other then sharing their pics & hoping there is someone out there that can help . but it doesnt help anyone if i dont have the money to pay for it, though.
