One of my biggest pet peeves has become people talking about "red nose" and "blue nose" Pit Bulls. Even more irritating is when people call their black dog with a black nose "blue nose". Or their fawn dog with a black nose "red nose". I mean, if you're going to use that stupid term at least use it correctly!
Many of my facebook friends have Pit Bulls, and many of them call their dogs red or blue nose. My really good friend just got a black and white Pit Bull puppy....
Some one asked him "What kind is he?" and he said "Blue nose". I was like "He's so cute!!! His nose looks black to me." and he said "He's still a blue nose. -_-" I was like "I think blue nose and red nose doesn't mean anything, except the actual color of their nose. See?" And posted a link to an informative Pit Bull site. He then says "It doesn't mean anything lol. It's just a name not a breed." WHaaaattt?!
My mind is boggled. I always feel bad for my friend Christine, who is an educated Pit Bull owner who has a red boy... and everyone flocks around her on walks, yelling "is that a red nose?" :wall:
