I'm sorry to say , but I feel that a winning Obama is a dead Obama . Just a gut feeling folks . Too many crazies out there . I'll be so glad when it's over !!!

There has to be a first in all things. It is not easy..it is not fun...but it must happen. Ask Jackie Robinson...ask Martin Luther King Jr if they would have changed anything, left it to another,...if you could ask them I just bet the answer would be no.

This America is plainly one that needs more firsts...and change is never without incident. But that does not mean the change should not happen. People cannot live in fear...and allow fear to limit their dreams.

I think the Secret Service (or is it the FBI?) could handle it. I'm sure every president has wackos gunning for him.

I'm sure glad they caught those failures of humanity, though. It sounds like they were determined to murder black people whether Obama was one of them or not. I really wonder what's wrong with some people.

Yeah, but "Skinheads plot to kill 103 people, go on a killing spree, and maybe kill Obama" doesn't make nearly as good of a headline as "SKINHEADS PLOT TO KILL OBAMA (and some black people.)"

Agree .... they should , but look at the past assassinations and the attempted assignations . And they weren't hate groups .

I bet there are way more attempted assassinations than we ever hear about.

My bro works with the feds and he told me once that there is at least one attempt every single day. Most of them are just morons though, and try to do things like drive by and shoot random bullets at the whitehouse. :rolleyes:

While yes Obama would be a visible target for certain people because of his race :mad:, I believe that the secret service is perfectly capable of protecting him.

I am becoming seriously concerned that there will be real violence on election day . . .not just heckling, or intimidation, or even fist fights, but honest-to-god violence, with guns. I really, really hope not, but I have a terrible feeling.

Made more terrible because of where I'll be on election day . . . ugh.

Ummm . . .yes. Bush and company gave us all a lesson in the concept of "unlawful." I would hope we are clear on it now, regardless of who is in power. Fortunately, neither canidate has proposed anything unlawful that I know of.

Yes, Bush is a IDIOT. That makes voting for a person who has MORE disdain for the Constitution OK?

I miss heard the guy on the radion this morning... I thought thay HAD plotted and succeded. :yikes: I was in the shower so I only caught bits and pieces, but heck it scared me, and made me angry! What really saddens me the most, is that they were 'skinheads'... doesn't help the already not-so-good German image.

I'm still appalled at the guy who went to a McCain rally with a stuffed monkey that had an Obama sticker on it. Then in the rally when he saw there was a major network camera pointed towards him tried to give it to a little boy next to him. He KNEW what he was doing was unacceptable, just didn't show it until he was caught.
