Some fun from inside the station, because we clearly work SO HARD here in radio:
JPT walks by, a very curious look on his face - not exactly a stressed out look, but not a happy look either... more like... kind of how I feel. I snerk and ask him if he's having a good day (since mine has been pretty horrible, I assume his is going the same.)
JPT: I WAS until, you know. Now. Welcome to the afternoon, where ALL THE EQUIPMENT GOES BAD. But you see... I think I've figured it out. It's not bugs. It's not a glitch.
Me: Gremlins?
JPT: Gremlins, I thought that too but - no, no. It's a ghost.
Me: A ghost.
JPT: In the machine.
Me: A ghost in the machine.
JPT: A ghost in the machine.
Me: ...which was an album by... who?
JPT: ...oh, oh, um. Was it... I'm gonna say Pink Floyd?
Me: I have to google it now, it's gonna bug me. *googles* Ah - let's see. It was... a book. And it's also an album by THE POLICE. ...And some Ohio band called Switched.
JPT: Ohhh, of course, Switched. Who hasn't heard that album. It changed my life. Isn't that also the title of an anime?
Me: Ye - no. Wait... yes? I think so.
JPT: I thought so, I thought I remembered that from my Cartoon Network days.
Me: They ended?
JPT: Well, no. BUT ANYWAY there's a ghost in the machine, and I've decided, we need to call those guys. You know, the ones?
Me: ...ghostbusters?
JPT: N- YES! Well I was thinking about those guys on that show on sci-fi but YES.
Me: Oh! Ghost Hunters or whatever!
JPT: Yeah, them! But no, I think Ghostbusters in a pretty good idea.
Me: Yeah, I'm all about the Ghostbusters.
JPT: That's what I think.
Me: Okay, it's decided then - we'll call Ghostbusters.
JPT: Yes.
(Later he came back and told me he was thinking of a totally different song by Pink Floyd; a few minutes later he came back by again and I told the anime is, in fact, called Ghost in the SHELL.)
(We work REALLY HARD here.)
