My moms fried chicken, spuds and green beans. I have the recipie but I just can't get it the same. I can get the mashed right, but the chicken just is never the same.

Oh man... yeah she makes some rocking fried chicken lol. I don't know what her secret is but SO good.

Oh and I'll add my moms pot roast to my list too. I just can't make it like she does no matter how hard I try

My shepards pie. I use taco seasoning with onions and corn between layers of garlic mashed potatoes
And sharp chedder cheese. Top layer has extra cheese and bacon bits. Hmmmmmmmmmm

:yikes: I love hamburger soup and Kevin thinks I'm crazy! My gram's hamburger soup was of course a favorite that can't be duplicated even with her recipe in hand.

Is your mom's like a tomato base veggie soup with hamburger....or is it a different kind of base?
