Lol. STRANGE. That's all I've got to say.

Charlie is scared of his water bowl. We have one of those things where there's a little container on top of the bowl the puts water in the bowl under it or whatever. He is scared of that darn thing.

WHen he doesn't want to eat something, he will put all kinds of dirt, pine straw, pine cones and stuff like that to save it for later. Unfortunately, "later" is late enough for the ants.

When you are behind him while he is walking, he looks so funny! His feet look like they step sideways, and his tails...I mean tail curls up. It looks so funny. He REALLY looks like a beagle that way.

Sawyer likes to stare for hours on end at my rats, but always from a safe distance of five feet away. And he likes to make a really strange grunting noise while rolling on his back when he's trying to get me up in the morning and the paw slap isn't working. He's also very jealous of any and all attention lavished on me by my boyfriend; he freaks out and starts jumping on us while barking at the top of his lungs.

Harley has a really strange 'habit'...

When I am using a disposable camera and start to wind it on it makes that clicking noise. Anyway, whenever it makes that noise and Harley is around he will start chattering his teeth. He'll only stop chattering his teeth when the clicking noise stops! :D It is SOOOO funny to watch!!

Yogi used to "air scoop" his leftover food, too. I had gotten him as a stray and he was nothing but skin and bones and probably went back to his wolf instincts to "cover and save" his food for later! He would eat part of it, then back up a step and start acting like he's scooping the leaves and twigs over his bowl to save it for later. Only thing was, there WERE no leaves or twigs (he'd be eating in the kitchen or on the deck). So, we called it his "air scoop" (like "air guitar", get it? :D )

Baby was very skinny when we got her and she must still remember not having food. Anyway, she tries to cover any food that she doesn't want right not, but she doesn't get a blanket or a shirt or anything. She just rubs her nose on the ground like she is trying to cover it. It's really funny. She does it until she is satified that it "covered" then leaves it. I guess we aren't supposed to be able to see it or something. She is so serious about it that I just cam't stop laughing and then she looks at me like "What?"
She also air kisses. I ask her to give me a kiss, especially if there is a treat involved she will air kiss. Put her head up like a kiss and sometime even put her tongue out but not actually kiss b/c she really really wants the treat. I alway have to say "no I want a real Kiss" until she does. She's such a silly girl!

my doggy is psycho...when we let him around the house (he is usually just in the kitchen) he runs at a million miles per hour in circles...he loves chasing after ANY reflection...including his tags...when we take out the dishes...cooking, anything...he used to chase his own shadow...that was really fun when we were trying to walk him haha.

He chases flies and dust all the time

He also picks up some food then brings it to our carpet, and spits it out then eats it

He barks at attacks sprinklers...and lake michigan (apparently my doggie thinks he can take on lake MI)

ahhh my dog is crazy

buddy Jim's beagle would eat the air if he smelled something good he would lick slurp and swallow..(that truly was the stupidest dog alive)
Mary has to give visitors a gift..she picks up a toy and carries it to them..if they do not take it her feelings will be hurt and she will go to a corner and sulk
Victor MUST be completely covered up at bedtime..head and all, even when it is a little warm
I told a story along time ago about Lick LIck's fishing for pigeons..she would flip a few pieces of her kibble out of her bowl and hold postitively still until one of the pigeons came to close and she would snatch it up..guess she prefered "raw"
Trudy in her old age licked the floor constantly
i could go on for ever, but that is just a few i know..there were so many wonderful dogs at the kennel and each had it's odd behavior.

This was really wierd.

Charlie didn't eat his food for two days, and we tried to tell him to eat but he didn't. THen, this morning, he started to try eating his old food which was soggy and yellow, so I gave him some more fresh food. He ate at least two days worth!

My old dog, Sheba, If you left any food or treats on the table, even if it is in a bag, she would take it off of the table when nobody was looking, and eat everything, except the bag.If you ever made her mad, beware!

K... I've got one for Hunter he does a LOT... especially when he first wakes up in my bed. He'll lick the sides of his paws where his dew claws used to be then rub his face and eyes with both paws at once and wash his face like a cat!! :D Over and over again!

Every once in a hwile when she goes outside in the yard, there are certain areas she will avoid at all costs for some reason. Can't figure it out but it's funny as hell
