logan does lots of funny stuff.
he sings to harmonicas and flutes but wont sing to anything else
he is scared of traffic but tends to bolt towards it and not away from it.
he will not chase small animals but thinks every fallen leaf is prey.
he loves vegetables and would rather eat them than meat.
he is scared of rain but loves to be sprayed or hosed down
he drops his food on to the floor before he eats it
he wont lie on his bed until he has made it
he has never bared his teeth at anyone but his favourite teddy
he eats noses off teddies and the left eye but never the right
he wont yawn unless i touch his tongue
he steals anything shiny and hides it UNDER his bed.... eg car keys, mums phone :)

lol

^ lol! My dog thinks everything that moves is living, if I throw a tennis ball at him and it keeps bouncing, he looks at it very intently and then stops moving when IT stops moving. Then he creeps closer very slowly and grabs it with his mouth really fast and grabs it with his paws. It's really funny.

Nedim..it sounds like peanut wants you to chase her and is frustrated that you wont...thus the barking and the nip.

Not to go off topic or hijack this thread or anything, but how can I stop that?

Lucas and Chloe both do the taking a mouthfull of food from the bowl to another spot and drops it and then cleans it up and then go back to grab some more. Both of them will toss toys like they are playing by themselves, but they take turns......Lucas will toss it and then Chloe grabs it and tosses it and then it's Lucas' turn again, etc.

Lucas runs around in circles when I come home....and he goes as fast as he can until he tires himself out...it's sooo cute :p He also HATES water. He will do everything in his power to avoid it. He doesn't go out in the rain unless absolutely necesary, he prances around puddles, and when the grass is wet he will tipy toe out.

Choe- when she wants something..lik going outside...she will lift her paw like she is going to set it on my arm, but she just holds it in midair and then puts it down and does it again....it's rather funny! :p She also does the zoomies thing, but her's is different. She doesn't go at top speeds, she goes in little circles just trotting along.

I thought of a few more....

Harley -
* When there is a storm he will bolt upstairs and hide under my sister's bed (it's always that place, nowhere else)
* When Harley was a puppy and the vacuum cleaner was on he'd run and hide behind the toilet, where the pipe is.
* Even though JRTs were bred to catch mice, Harley looked after my pet mice like they were his babies. Some days he'd go outside and lie by the cages, just watching them peacfully. Whenever I cleaned their cages out Harley would wait the whole time with me while I was cleaning (over 1 hour), and he'd start crying if I didn't let him see the mice when they were out of their cages. If I let him see the mice while I was holding one he'd go and lick it's fur.

Abby -
* She's learnt to bounce up and down from being around my JRT x (Harley), so when she's excited she'll bounce around the place.
* She chases the light that's created from watches.
* She shies away from garbage bags, as if they're going to eat her!

Every time I walk into my house with my Kevlar helmet and camoflage, Rocko starts barking and growling at me like I was an intruder. As soon as the helmet comes off he sits and awaits my next order. Gotta love GSD's :D

Maybe Rocky thinks something is getting your head! and once it is off your safe again..hehehe mean old helmet thing. how does he react to it once it is off? it is just a guess.
Nedim, better ask CT, sometimes you just gotta go play, but that might not be the best answer, Victor is terribly bossy and i have to not let him or he would have be do nothing but romp.
Mary likes to get a marble, step on it so it gets stuck between the webbing of her toes and click around...a woman that liked heels in the past life? i don't know why she does it. everything Victor does is weird :D
when he is running he just has to take these high leaps and wiggles..i wish i felt that good all the time. At least he doen'st go in and jump up and down on my bed like that anymore trying to get us to come in..that was when he gave me the black eye...and Renee said to remind him he was a pointer not a boxer..

Charlie HATES getting wet, but I think he tries to get wet on purpose so we can dry him off with THE towel. He loves it! It's kind of funny. We bought this dog house for him, but every time it thunders or rains, we have to take him into the garage because HE JUST NEVER GOES IN THERE! So he'll hide in this lot of really tall weeds. It's really funny.

Spirit has to have something in his mouth it he wants to go outside. he will pick up a toy, shoe, paper, heck I have seen him pick a piece of lint off the carpet so he can have something in his mouth because he could not find anything else. Raven doesn't like to get her feet wet. If is has rained she will not step on the grass. she will potty on the sidewalk or deck so she doesn't have to get her feet wet, but she will almost drown herself in the garden hose!

Princess does that, she grabs things to go outside with her. When we was redoing a bedroom she got ahold of plastering tape and took the hole roll outside with her. She hates water to the point she will not walk thru a puddle, when she drinks she does it in a way that only her tongue touches the water. When I say time for bed, she jumps on the bed, lays acrossed it with her body upagaisnt all the pillows leaving no room for us. She stays on the bed until the tv is turned off then jumps down to the floor to sleep. Princess will not eat until Gracie or Kokomo (the puppy I puppysit) is finished eatting.
Gracie has to watch us cook. As soon as I put a leash on Princess, Gracie grabs it and takes off running. If I have a special meal for the dogs I use 2 dishes. Gracie always wants what Princess is eatting even though they are the exact thing. Everytime I sit down with Princess to brush her, Gracie jumps inbetween us. First she will try to get Princess to play, if that doesnt work she starts licking me and trying to get my attention. And she chases bugs outside.

Tiffer-

I have a dog that does that too with bones. As soon as we get him a bone, he paces around the house looking for a place to bury it. He'll put it in my shoes, purse, and then try to cover it with whatever is around. We laugh b/c hes just nosing the air. And if you dare to walk over and touch it, he'll do it all over again. He does the same thing with his food.

Boris gets crazy when he is on the couch. He rubs his side on the back of it like he's scratching it, while he growls, then gets on his side and starts again.

Tips puts his paws in the water bowl and plays with the water. I get about 4 puddles a day...

I'm often at the computer with my husband, and Boris comes with a toy in his mouth and drops it in our lap. He also brings toys to Tips now. It's cute.

Tips moves while peeing, when it's a really big one. I had a 4 feet long trail of pee in the room yesterday...

We used to use a wood panel as a gate for Boris. It worked wonderfully, but he was putting his paws on it. Then one day the thing that held it still broke, and the panel fell on him. He never as much as put his paws on it after that. Also, when it fell, he was really scared of it and wouldn't even step on it, lol. He never got over it. Unfortunately Tips isn't the same way, and was trying to push it to go over it, or under it, so we had to get a baby gate.. And Boris has his paws on it again :(

And still, if they are pouting their food, I just have to drop some on the floor and they will eat. Go figure.

Oh I forgot about the gate thing! Princess is scared of the babygate and has somehow taught Gracie that it's not to be touched. If I dont have Kokomo I never attach the gate, I just lean it agaisnt the doorway. Neither Gracie or Princess will mess with it. One day when I first started watching Kokomo he knocked the gate over, walked over it, Princess and Gracie just sat nearby with Princess crying because the way the gate was laying she couldnt walk around it!

Lol yes that sounds familiar...

Something else that Tips does - after Boris eats a treat, Tips starts licking Boris' teeth to get every piece of treat he can. I guess I won't have to worry about Boris' teeth anymore, lol.

sammy retrieves balls/frisbees from the lake-- then rubs against trees or shrubs as if that will dry him off-- he'll rub against bare poky branches, knock small shrubs right over. I swear he's gonna poke out an eye one day

Last night he decided to "dry off" against my wall-- now I have a big stripe of black collie hair down the length of my wall

My 60 lb dog is submissive to my 9 lb cat-- I was walking up the stairs from my basement and he was ahead of my and wouldn't go any further-- I couldn't see past his big hairy bodyto see what the problem was. He kept turning around looking at me like "welll I can't go any further" with his pathetic face on-- sure enough my little cat is lying peacefully at the top of the stairs. :p

haha yeah teddy does wierd things too lol

when we tell him to sit (if he is near a piece of furniture) he will just put his bum up on the couch or chair and that is his sit lol he does it all the time even when we are watching tv he will just come up and lift his bum up but keep his front paws on the floor lol. i think it is more comfortable than rearranging his long legs to sit on the floor lol

We can't keep him out of puddles and the bathtub lol. if it has been raining and we go out the first place he wants to run is into a puddle lol and we have to wrestle him out of the tub pretty much everyday lol.

If he has to burp after drinking water he will always be sure to be right in your face so you don't miss it :D

he rolls on his rawhides lol but only at night or first thing in the morning lol never in between.

Teddy almost never barks. he only barks if another dog barks at him first or if the other dog won't play with him lol. He loves small dogs rather than big dogs and he is so gentle with the little ones lol gentle giant he is :D

My moms dog shelby lol

if you are sitting there with your legs crossed she will get u nder you and start massaging her bum on the heel of your foot hahaha

When I come to visit for a weekend and then leave she will go lay in the room i stayed in and she will pout and she won't come out for at least a day lol

When I brought Teddy to meet her she was jealous lol she would turn her back to me and wouldn't even look at me lol she was so upset that i had this other dog lol

In the winter time if she gets too much snow in her paw she will stop walking and just lift her paw until you get the snow lol. She won't walk any further and no whining or anything she just stops and lifts her paw like the spoiled little princess she is lol
