I swear everyday I come home my mother finds another sick way to make me mad at her! so first Samm had to go and get stitches because my mom never listens to me and let Samm run around the propery with no supervision. She didn't even relize my dog had a gash in her chest untill after I got home! I new it had to have been there for a while too, because there was dried blood around it and it wasn' bleeding much.

Anyway today I come home from school and I was running late in the morning so I asked my mom is she could give Samm her meds for me. She said yes and I even said "don't forget!" and she said I wont! Well I came home and asked her if Samm got her meds this morning and she gave me the, "omg, I totally forgot..maybe tomarrow you'll get up earlier so I don't have to forget"
she does this alot, because she never does anything wrong..

Ok and here is the part that makes me so freakin crazy I can't beleive she had the guts to say it to me. As I'm walking into the room she yells out, "oh and Samms stitches are out!" I was completely lost for words. I felt like yelling out every -censered- word I knew. She had told me when Samm first got her stitches that she would take them out for her. I said hell no and she even said "ok, i wont" and I can not beleive I believed her... but wait like I said she is never wrong, and when I went to ask her what the hell she was thinking (actully I remember saying "are you freakin retarded?!" ya I know it was immature, but Its better than saying what I wanted to say) Then I asked why she did it and that Samm wasn't even suppose to get her stitches out till Sat-Sun and she wasn't a vet. then she said "oh I didn't do it Mark did (her bf)" now I was completely grrrrrrrr. I swear he probably didn't even clean his hands when he did it and because he went to vet school for like a year my mom thinks we never have to make another vet visit again. She even said the vet call and said her stitches could come out on thursday.. life I belevied her, I mean if your nose really did grow when you lie then she would have to have plastic sugery like everyday. I totaly just stop listening to her, because almost everything she says is lies... anyway there is kinda more to it and I might type some later, but it's late and I sould really get some sleep... night guys!!!

p.s. does anyone want to adopt me plz? :hail:

I'm thinking crate in your bedroom and a lock on the door. ;)

I'd been having my mom watch my puppy for me while I was at work. There was only 4 hours between when I left for work and the hubby got home. But in those 4 hours, my pup was picking up the most obnoxious habits. For example, where she was pretty well housebroken at our house, she'd pee on the floor at my mom's house, because mom wouldn't pay enough attention to catch her before she needed to go out. And she'd climb up in peoples' laps and take food from their hands. I decided, enough of that craziness, and one day I crated my pup and went to work. Later on, I got the most horribly ranting, screaming, cussing phone call from my mom at work. (She was basically saying "how dare you leave that baby in a crate?!") It's funny now, but it wasn't at the time. This was after I'd had my move-out date moved up considerably because she'd called me at work and told me how her husband was throwing food around and having a tantrum, leaving gates open and things like that.

So. Yeah. Family is important. But family that is stupid about dogs, well, you just gotta draw the line somewhere. Hopefully if you put your foot down about it now, your mom will respect you more for it.

I agree with Bahamutt99 lock the dog in your bedroom and maybe your mom will respect your wishes and leave your dog alone. Then it will be safe til you get home. Sounds like you love your baby so much and no sense in aguing because it is landing on deaf ears. Good luck to you and your baby......

I feel sorry for both you and your dog. Try not to let it affect you and it won't be long before you graduate and can get a job and your own place, so try and be patient..........

I'm sorry... that must be so frustrating :(

I would try to keep Sammy confined to your room so she'll be away from your mom.

You're welcome to come to FL :D Hehe.

I'm so sorry you're having this frustration. It is hard when you live with others and some things are out of your control. I hope things will improve for you. If not, when you make the road trip, stop by in north Idaho.
