Yup, I found a good deal on ebay for a factory demo Nikon d80 with a 1 year warranty. It was just the body though, so now I need to save up for a lens. No pics for a while still lol.

And while on the subject, does anybody know of any good "all around" lenses just to get me started? I don't want the 18-55 they provide with the camera in kits. I have read that its just an ok lens, which is why I bought the body only.

I agree, don't get the 18-55 lens, I'm probably going to sell mine soon as it's just a waste. Get a lens like a 70-300 or 70-200. It takes great portrait shots AND you can get far away subjets.

I've used a Canon 70-200 alot and really like it. I hope to get a Nikon 70-300 soon.

I use my 70-300mm lens the most although if you like shooting landscapes and such, it's not the best choice.
