Although I love Liberty...I don't know if I would seek out another Coton de Tulear. His personality is great: smart as a whip, biddable, trainable, and very athletic, but he's just so LITTLE. After having larger dogs, I am finding that I really appreciate the more durable nature of my big guys. Especially living fairly rurally, I don't have to worry about them as much with yotes/hawks/etc.

German Shepherd: I could definitely see myself with another shepherd, but I don't know that I would go through rescue again. Mammoth is my best buddy, but when I really think objectively about his temperament...eh. I love the way he is with me and my family, but if he weren't old and blind I think we would have dog/dog or Mammoth/stranger conflicts fairly regularly.

I'm sure houlas are more obvious! That will hopefully be my pup as I transition to more independent living!

Rough Collie .. absolutely! :)

Papillon/Papillon mix/whatever Seamus is, not so much. :p I love Seamus to bits but I don't think the breed/mix is a great fit for me.

Collie's shed heavy and even though I don't mind grooming it does take up alot of time and Collie's are very vocal dogs lol!
A smoothie would help ni the shedding department, but they're still very vocal dogs lol!

Springers - it would have to be an exceptionally special dog for me to consider It. Taz is perfect but not what I would go looking for again.

JRT- maybe. I really like Taz/Fudges size. If I could get a JRT on stilts then yes lol.

If I could find another Fudge i would snap it up in an instant although Fudge is one in a million so ...

Lab- a nice working bred lab perhaps.

Newfoundland- hell would freeze over first.

An Aura- God yes!! This little dog is so much fun!!

Yes yes yes YES!!! I am so totally in love with my GSD and his temperament. I also say yes to my amazing Cardigan Corgi. I believe I will always have one of each. I adore Jason's BC pup and could see myself with a BC later on.

Labs, maybe again someday but doubtful - I do not enjoy dogs that like everyone all that much.

Dutch Shepherd - I would love to but I was so torn up over my last I would need to KNOW it was stable..so doubtful, really doubtful.

Pit Bull - they are AWESOME but I can't stand the hair, it sticks in everything.

Chihuahuas- absolutely! They fit me perfectly in every way, and I always want at least 2 or 3 of them!

Border Collies- probably. I only want one 'big dog' at a time and there are other breeds I'm interested in as well. So maybe not as my next bigger dog, but some time in the future.

Hmmm...

Of the breeds I have had in my life...

English cockers...I have to say yes. I won't go out of my way to find one, but I would never say no if the right one fell into my life :)

I feel the same way about American cockers...

Collie...maybe a smooth if it was a very special dog.

Basenji...most definitely. I would love to own another senji monster :D The breed seems to have that effect on people...they make your sanity lapse and want another.

Shar pei...I think I will have another despite the health problems that occur in the breed the personality of all the ones I have known makes up for it in spades.

For value of interest I'll start with my previous breeds(non-fosters) and move forward:

German Shorthaired Pointer: Positively!
Wheaten terrier: Nope.
Rat terrier: Positively.
Pit bull: Only for the right one.
Malinois: Without fail.

I will always always own a papillon until I die, no questions asked. It's not even an option any other way.

Previous breeds:
GSD: not likely
Lab: No
Sheltie: Probably will

Papillon definitely YES! Love them and almost everything about them!

Cavs, yes sure!! I may not go seeking one out for a while but if one conveniently falls into my lap, yes! Also when I'm older, I do hope to have some more Cavs.

Chihuahua? No. I don't match with the breed and from the 3 Chis in the family, I've really seen that we don't get along. So unless a dog in a come live with me or die situation, I won't be looking for one.

Acutally, probably not. I love my girl with ALL my heart, but the heartbreak that comes with the health issues, and the lack of ability to participate even when she wants to- is just not fair. Plus, I'd like a bigger dog next round:)

IDK though.. as I sit here and watch her torment her oversized tennis ball.. I might reconsider, one day.

There will be more Belgians for sure :0

I suspect we'll have another Cardi, as they are my husband's favorite breed and they've sort of grown on me :)

PyrShep? Maybe in the far away future. Not sure I can imagine having to supervise and entertain two of them at a time!

For past dogs...

Probably not another GSD for a long time. The right GSDs are probably my over all favorite dogs but their tendency towards same sex aggression towards household dogs makes me hesitant. I think I'd only have another if the GSD would be the only boy or only girl in the house.

It would have to be the absolute perfect (to me) Collie for me to have another of them.

My childhood dog was an Irish Setter and I'm not drawn to that breed for myself. I also had a very Dobe-like Dobe mix. I adored him but I don't think Dobes are really for me, although I do like the way they look and aspects of their temperament (although not so much others).

Boxer -- No, not likely.
English or Bullmastiff -- Definitely not likely at all. I'd actually be willing to flat out say no. Never.
GSD -- If the right one came alone
Sibe -- Definitely. I could never give up "my" breed.
Catahoula -- Sure, why not?

More Border Collies - Yes please.
More ACD mixes - Maybe in the future.

More Quinns - Sure, but I'd do things differently in the beginning.
More Busters - Yes please, I just wish I hadn't messed up raising/socialising him so much early on.

YES, YEs, Yes. Seens how I am on my 3rd dalmatian(over my lifetime). I can honestly say there will be more. They just fit. I am accually looking into getting a pup this summer from the same breeder Ivan came from, and would be quite closely related to him. Only she would be a different color.
