Wood burns

    In my spare time I like to do pyrography, (burning images on wood). Here are a few.

    How is it actually done? You first draw and than burn it out ?

    That's about it. Mainly I just outline the figure, draw in the eys and nose (hardest parts) then take it froim there.

    Wow wood burning looks like it's a lot of fun. I'd like to try it. But I dunno where to start. *scratches head*

    i tried that once and my wrist complained!!!!!! i don't know how you do it..i spend most of my time on eyes and nose first too! I love your work and hope you will post more in the future;) have you ever tried working on gourds? i saw some interesting wood burning done that way at an art show. :)
