We were out in the yard enjoying the longer daylight hours and I just liked how she looked in that light. So I grabbed the camera and snapped this shot.

Is it just me or is her facial hair out of control!??

Hah! No, I had a retrieving dummy in my hand, when I got her in the frame I just held it up and she followed it.

But if a UFO ever did appear near me, I would probably miss it because I was taking pictures of my dog.

Wow, how nice! Thank you so much.

The big show we're really psyched for is the National Specialty show on May 1. But there is one show a few hours from me a couple weeks before then. We're trying to buy a house and move in that time frame, but if I can swing it, it'd be neat to go to the Saturday shows a couple weeks before the Specialty as kind of a tune up.

It will be neat to see a whole bunch of wirehaired Vizslas all in one place! And as well as Winnie did in her first show (earning her championship in one weekend), I really believe she belongs with all those great wirehairs!

I'm not usually a fan of wirehair coats but she looks too soft for me to not love on her. She's such a neat breed too, I wish you luck in the show rings but I think she'll be fine after going champ her first weekend
