I will, and, yes, he is. He's as much of a dog lover as I am. He grew up with lots of animals. His mother used to raise seeing eye dogs and they always had several of their own, as well.

I just got a receipt thingy in the mail from the shelter with a copy of the contract I signed. The contract did say that I agree to have him neutered. It also says that I agree not to sell, trade, or give him away! lol. And that the shelter may visit my house at any time to ensure his adequate care. Well I don't think they'll be driving all the way up here.. and I did tell them where he was actually going...

Oh, do you want me to bring a little of the food I've been feeding him? I don't know what you feed, but I feed Taste of the Wild and he's doing well (no diarrhea or anything), and I'd hate for him to abruptly switch foods twice in just a few days.

well now--how perfect is this? I just switched Baxter over to TOTW-so that is what I will feed Wilson. I have the waterfowl formula.

He hasn't marked anywhere today. We don't give him the opportunity to, since he's with us the whole day, but his desire has seemed to decrease quite a bit since getting used to things. I'm sure he will try to do it a lot when you first bring him in. I'd get one just because then if he's sleeping with you, you won't be worried the whole night.

Yep--camera will be ready! Will have to make doggie introductions before pictures though...hope they all get along well.
I hope he will do well with her--from the sounds of things he is a loveable little guy!

Thanks, everyone. We will be leaving in about an hour. Then it's a 2.5 hour drive, and Bax has to drive all the way home after that, so I don't think there will be any updates til late tonight

I am just checking in...the sun is finally shining....hooray! I plan to leave in about an hour--so we should be good.
As for updates...probably tomorrow. I want to take time tonight to get everyone acclimated. Could be a circus here! lol!

Oh--and I finally got an email back from the shelter, telling me Wilson has been adopted....how funny is that??

ok--home, everyone has "met"....and now finally settling down. We got home around 10 pm--I hope Pam made it home in good time. We had a little difficulty with the planned location--so lost some time there. Sorry about that Pam!
