So dogs know when they do something wrong. Im having a problem with Molly. She knows when shes done something wrong, if we go out and she does it. She cowers and wont come near us when we come in. If she hasnt done it that day, when we come in shes her normal waggy tail pleases to meet us self!!!!
The problem is she is getting into the kitchen when we are out by ragging the baby gate off the hinges! I have a camera and its recorded her doing it!! She then gets in the litter tray and spreads dirty litter everywhere! Also shreds the bin and empties its contents all over the kitchen floor! Gets into the pantry and gets out what she can and eats what she can.

When we get in the mess is unreal! Its not what you want after being out. My husband goes ballistic and I must admitnits pushing me to the edge too!

Ive tried blocking the door, but I cant shut the door because the cats have to have access.

She knows its wrong, why do it day after day to get a gob full and sometimes a crack off my husband! She knows what shes doing is wrong if you read first paragraph! I cant invite anyone home cos im scared what im coming home to.

The whole scenario is causing no end of arguments between me and hubby and its stressing me out to the max that shes doing it!
nhac chuong hay, nhac chuong iphone, nhac chuong khong loi
Shes vet checked and nothing medically wrong. Possibly bored but more likely cos shes a fecking greedy cow and loves shit out of the litter tray and food out of bins!

Does Molly get enough exercise? It's possible that she might be bored - so she's trying to get rid of her excess energy by messing around with the litter bin. Maybe try walking her a little more than usual and see if that lowers her energy levels enough so that she won't misbehave.

First of all, Molly DOESN'T know it is wrong. In fact, she was rewarded for doing it, the whole time she did. Kitty crunchies, trash, playing.

The behavior you see when you get home, when she cowers and slinks, is her knowing she is in trouble because she has learned that she gets in trouble when you get home and are in that same mental state. Basically, we teach them that they are in trouble because we are mad. She really doesn't know WHY you are mad.

I agree 100% that more exercise might be helpful, and perhaps leaving her with toys she is able to play with. Stuff and freeze a KONG and leave it for her when you go. Or, you can try leaving her in a crate (if you have properly introduced it) when you leave.
