Bon Jour , M. Breton ! I just caught your profile .... and glad to finally see someone from Quebec here ! I've been in the States for many years, but spent my 1st 20 years not too far from you , so know Quebec City well ! I was brought up in Thetford Mines, the asbestos mining area. I still have many friends up there . One of my Dad's best friends in Thetford was a Breton. A great guy !
My wife almost got a job in Thetford Mines at the english school board there... (Anderson memorial school or something?) But she decided to go to another school now.
Indeed, you were close to where I live! I'm in St-Redempteur in fact (St-Nicolas, Bernieres) which is in the Lotbiniere region, just north of the mines.

That would be Andrew Johnson Memorial school !! I went to the old school ( there's only one English school there ) , but it was practically on the brink of the largest mine and was torn down about 30 years ago. So was the Church I went to. Small world !! Yup !! I went to college in Mass. and met my husband to be. BTW...Dad's friend , Chief Breton, raised rabbits too ! Dad brought one home to me once, she had bunnies when I openned the box !!
