It was fun to do a different direction in design work. A little whimsy is good for the soul -- and fit the characters :)

This is a small tag for a dog who is just under a foot tall. But don't tell Her Grooviness she's not a big dog. Or that grrrls with brains are square.

I love them!!! Just one question. Do they stain white fur? I have a massive problem with Lilly's staining her coat and if I order for the paps I can't have anything staining their coats. They wear stainless steel right now.

I haven't run into that, PD. I do, though, treat them with either a museum quality or carnuaba wax to seal them. It's not a bad idea to periodically treat any metal -- aside from gold or stainless -- that's going to come into contact with skin, fur or be exposed to air for that matter, with a good quality wax.

Wipe their tags down. Stainless steel doesn't necessarily tarnish, but it can get dirty.

Renee-
Those tags are GORGEOUS, but you already know I think that from my email reply. ;)

I cannot wait until you come up with a design for Luke and Ophie. As I said, I just want their names on it and my number on the back. You mainly have design freedom for them.

I love "The Brain" one. Beautiful! Something like that would really suit Kya...

The stainless ones don't stain their coats, that is why I bought them. I was just asking if Renees ones stain because I wouldn't want to buy some for the Paps to discover they stain.

If you've got something that's staining their coats, try giving it a coat of Renaissance wax or carnuaba wax. It's also good to treat metal trimmed collars.

I coated the copper bracelet I wear 24/7 with Renaissance wax and don't have the least bit of discoloration on my arm.
