So at work yesterday we had a GSD throw up in the dog play area. She threw up this object that was roughly about 5-6 inches long and everyone was staring at it trying to figure out what it was. We bagged the object up to see if her mom/owner could identify it when she picked her dog up. My guess was that it was a turkey neck.

Turns out I had guessed right. Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I could identify it correctly lol.

But holy moly... I can't believe that dog had swallowed that whole piece whole like that. Ouch.

We had a pit bull throw up a very tasteful pair of ladies panties in our play yard once. We bagged them for the owners, since we weren't quite sure what else to do.

Both of her daddies were motified when we gave them back.

This may or may not having anything to do with the fact that we haven't seen the dog since.

My old boss's dog had to be taken to the e-vet to have some panties removed and the vet brought them back out in a plastic bag and asked if he wanted them :p

Oh god, speaking of panties. We have a yellow lab that throws up panties everytime he comes to daycare. I seriously worry about that dog.

Arnold has mild Pica, or so I believe. He developed it when the malinois came into the picture (sad, I know) but he loves to tear up, chew like gum, and swallow tiny pieces of toys. It's always a bit of an adventure cleaning his poop. We have one old melted and rehardened jolly ball that is still his favorite to nibble on (it's the only one I let him have) so his poop is usually the easiest to pick out in the yard, it always has specs of red rubber in it. Mmmmm. Luckily he's not a puker though and the pieces are always small, like glitter even. Dogs, whatchagunnado?

We haven't had a dog throw up anything weird at work, but you know those gel sticky things that stick to the wall when you throw them? We've had dogs poop those out. And then we stand around and poke it with a stick. A dog also pooped a balloon once.

Once time at FOHA this dog threw up something that looked like pieces of plastic. The kennel manager put it in a bag and showed it to everyone to try to figure out what it was, but we never did. We even checked the dog's run to see if anything looked chewed and couldn't find a thing. It was weird.

One time Daisy ate a bag of Hershey's kisses that my sister stupidly left on the floor. Her poop had multicolored foil in it for several days.

I had a bassett X at work puke up a single Guinness cap. Weirdly, there was no vomit surround it, just the guinness cap in tiny puddle of spit. That was definitely the best.

Milo is the WORST panty stealer (it's the only thing he still chews, he's a freak) but I don't think he swallows it because I've never seen any in poop...he just hoards them under the bed and shreds the crotches.

My favorite thing a daycare dog has thrown up would have to be a bunch of those "do not eat" packets. We all died laughing.

Molly was queen underwear eater. ALL THE TIME we would find undies either in her vomit or in her poop. Seriously it is so amazing that dog never obstructed! And so crazy that we were never concerned about it.

Juno vomited up a strange object a few weeks ago that no one was ever able to identify. I think my vote is on caterpillar.

Otherwise... never seen anything unusual.

Romeo eats socks if you're not careful, well, he rips them in half and swallows the half whole. I didn't think he was actually ingesting them until I noticed sock poops out in the yard. It worries me but I try to be very vigilant about not leaving them where he can get them.

A kennel technician brought us over a stool sample in a cup in order to ask "WTF is in this poop?" We all took a look and the consensus was that the dog had crapped out a tampon. EW.

Omg we had a visla (sp?) do that about 6 months ago.

There was also the dog that crapped out condoms. Imagine trying to explain that to the owner.... Especially when they looked shocked about it being condoms.... Oops...
