That village is beautiful! Where is it?
Central France, in La Creuse a very small department within the Limousin Region. Famous for it's cows!

It's equally pretty in the summer, there is a Roman bridge (not one in photo!), The bridge in the photo is medieval, and the church (at the top of the hill) goes back to before the 11 century. It was originally a Monastary. No monks now though. :D There's also an ancient, seed press for making oil, and a Mill witch holds the tool museum and Pottery made by local artists (which is for sale to tourists!)

Gustav -- it's absolutely beautiful, thanks for sharing!

My wallpaper is of my original TWO MUSKATEERS, my beloved Eli and his sidekick Yogi (my original yellow lab). Both are playing at Rainbow Bridge, now. I hope I figured out how to link a photo! Here it is (crossing fingers):

All winter my wallpaper has been a picture of a mouse with a helmet on approaching a mousetrap. Just seemed to go along perfect with my wintertime mice problems I had.

Did they all come in your house to stay warm and get fed? Those sneaky little critters!

Hey Renee
And an early '70s 911.

How about this one -- its actually a '78.
Its one of the larger possesions (big boys toy!) that I left in England when I went to Spain... part of my stay here is to sell it :( .
Not too practical with Bonnie or with luggage, but a real blast to drive. I will miss it, so this will be my screen backdrop for a while.

Bonster - that looks like a lot of fun you are about to give up. But I can see how it may not be Bonnie-friendly or luggage-friendly. Too bad you can't just ship it to Renee for "safe-keeping". ;)

Oh yes, meant to add about the Pharoah Hound (a breed I love)...
did you know they can blush.. when excited, their noses and the inside of the ears turn a rosy pink color!

The way the light is coming through the trees just illuminates the pair of them.
I know... isn't it wonderful? That was taken in my backyard in the fall with the beautiful leaves and setting sun. And getting them to pose was never a problem. They always LOVED having their picture taken. Aren't they just the poster-child for HAPPY?!

I saw that about the Pharoah Hound on the blushing. I thought that was very interesting.

Thank I like it too, but my mom don't really like it for some reason. Probably because she is not a dog type of person.
