my favorite is black
Depends on the breed.
Newfounland- either black or black & white Landseers
Dobermans- black & tan
Siberian Husky- black & white or silver/grey & white
Pointer- black & white
English Setter- blue belton or tri color
Australian Shepherd- tri
Dachshund- black & tan
German Shepherd- black & tan
Hmm- looks like I do have a favorite color after all. LOL
My favourite colour for a Border Collie is a nicely patterned blue merle.
Though the colour of my favourite dog is blonde/white
I prefer dark colors whenever possible, preferably all one shade.
If it can't be all a dark color, I prefer dark dogs with either dark markings (like a black Rottie with dark brown points *swoon*) or minimal flashy white (like a pinto colored Akita *swoon*).
The exception to this is dogs that come in red merle. I love me some red merles.
Oh. And my favorite dog is a certain brown dog.
I like tricolors a lot. And black and white. And a nice shaded sable or masked sable.
Collie (Rough)- Blue Merle CHW or Sable
Sheltie - Blue Merle or Sable
English Springer - Bench B/W
American Cocker - B/W Parti, or Red Parti w ticking
English Cocker - Red or Blue Roan
English Setter - orange Belton, blue Belton or tri
I'm a sucker for a brindle anything.
I don't really know if I have a favourite anymore. I am more attracted to a certain type of dog or breeds vs. colours. But I like contrasty dogs and I prefer dark eyes. I like dark, rich colours. Tri colours and bi colours are nice though. Some brindles. Certain merle patterns. My favourite colours in my favourite breeds are...
Aussies: Black tri and dark red tri. Darker merbutifjulie either colour but preferably no bi eyes or blue eyes.
Tollers: Darker orange and not really particular about markings, but prefer a small snip of white on the face and four white paws. I kind of want a black nosed toller next whenever next toller happens.
Koolies: Dark solid red/red bi, dark red Merle, black tan/black bi/black tri.
Depends on the dog. I like rich, mostly solid colors. Reds, blacks. Tris. Certain merles, so long as there's white with tan/copper trim. Some brindles. Fawns with dark masks.
My favorite dog is a red sable.
My favorite dog is blue, black, white & tan. (Uhh...whaddya call his coloring anyway?!)
Black and tan, in general, is my favorite on most dogs.
APBT: Black and tan, red or chocolate brindle, buckskin with a dark mask
Great Dane: Fawn with a dark mask, harlequin
Kelpie: Black and Tan
Standard Poodle: Black
Brindle is my favorite Red and tricolor are also awesome.
I don't have a favourite in most breeds, Bouviers is one of the few, I LOVE fawn, but if I ever get one colour will be the last thing on the list
Poodles, I love the way Partis look, I so which they were accepted in the show ring.
One more, Domino and Black and Tan on Afghans..to die for.
ESS-tricolor. I always used to be a traditional Irish patterned black/white/tan girl. But those richly colored English marked liver/white/tan dogs get me now.
Tollers-I prefer a flesh colored nose with a rich red (not buff).
Aussies-dark merle with no tan.
Belgians Tervs/Mals/Laekens-full DARK black mask with black shading on the body.
Border Collies - Black/White or Black Tri
Kelpies - Red and Tan or Fawn and Tan
GSD's - Bi Colour
Lab's - Black
Merle! Or tanpoint. But never merle tanpoint. Oh and grizzle/urajiro
I like Merle! It's like playing the cloud game on your dog they are so unique and easy to photograph since he's a light Merle
I am a big fan of black and tan or brindle (brindle with or without white). I have others I like, but those are probably my favorite.
My favorite color for a dog is silver/grey ...
however, my "favorite dog's color" is black.
I believe they are in UKC.
