Probably the one that helped humans the most would be... shelter. We would have had problems had we not figured out to build shelter. We don't have a lot of natural defences against our world so shelter is right up there.

I totally agree . . . except on the American cheese. I use peanut butter for dog pills, lol!

I can't remember the last time I ate a slice of commercially sliced bread.

I actually just shove the pill down my dogs throat.... and then give them a piece of those training sausage treats, and pet them a lot and say "good doggie" as in "I know you hate me right now because I just rammed this really nasty tasting pill down your throat and made you swallow, but when your (insert reason for pill here) goes away it'll all make sense!" I was just pointing out that american cheese is well... not for human consumption.:lol-sign:

Yah, since my hand basically will fit halfway down Kharma's throat I can do hers that way. Tallulah gobbles her probiotics like it's a treat, lol. Bimmer gets the peanut butter . . . which may mean he's a good bit slicker than the other two, lol.

They rarely ever, though, with the exception of Tallulah's probiotics, have to take any *knocksonwood*

Bear had to have crunchy peanut butter so he couldn't sort the pill out of the peanut butter and spit it back out

Xena is weird about pills. I take out the pill and say "Xena, here's your pill" and she eats it. Spook the cat, however, takes intervention from the Navy Seals to get a pill down his throat. Who know that a 6 pound, 18 year old cat could be so spry and strong?

There is a difference between "American Cheese" and "Cheese Singles" - don't confuse the two. I like American Cheese - especially when placed on a piece of toast with peanut butter and butter. Also it's my preferred cheese on a standard cheese steak. Pizza Steaks get provolone or mozzarella.
