and return for a day:

poor dog had a whole other dog's worth of fur that needed to come off. She hasn't been brushed at all in a good month and a half, the poor thing. Of course, when I got home, that was one of the first things to change. She still needs some more grooming as well as a pedicure, but she was pretty tired of me at the end of this, so I let her be.

Better quality pictures coming soon hopefully!

Eeesh! Bet She feels better now. I gave the dogs both baths today but Izzy was the only one to shed another dog worth of fur. Silly double-coated black dogs.

I'm soooo not looking forward to coat-blowing-season. And Logan's due to start at any time now :p

Hahaha, I wish I could sell the stuff! I could've made a nice dog hair coat from that hair. Today might be the day to start her nails.

I swear, this dog is well loved while I'm gone, but that's about it. She's fat and happy and has turned into a major mooch.

:yikes: I feel your pain! I brushed that much off of Violet every day for 3 or 4 days in a row last week! Thankfully I got about 90% of it out, and we're going to wash her at the groomers within the next week, and they have a SUPER powerful dryer that will blow the rest of it out.

Does Boo normally shed tons? I'm always surprised how much I can brush off of Lucy, because she doesn't shed that much (like, you pet her and your hand doesn't have any fur on it...it just comes out in clumps when I'm vacuuming). Apparently it's all just hidden in there!

I bet Boo feels tons better and ready for spring now :)

:yikes: That's a lot!!!

Off topic but the thread titled "Gone for two months" combined with your User name being GoingNowhere made me giggle LOL

Haha, Boo's shedding sounds a lot like Lucy's. You can pet her and you never ever come up with a handful of hair (like say, what you would with lab). Yet she definitely leaves little wafting balls of fluff around the house. Most of that hair was just old undercoat from the winter.

And I totally didn't even consider that thread title with my username! But it's Boo that's "going nowhere" not me!

WOW! Reminds me why I don't have long haired dogs! But she's more comfortable.

The animals are pretty fed up with me when I come home too - first thing I do is cut their nails. :D

haha, yep Boo's not too thrilled with me. She now has one foot halfway done, but she doesn't appreciate the nail trimming too much. Today I'll start on the second front foot.

I must say though, she enjoyed the walk I took her on yesterday, so maybe she doesn't hate me too much!

LOL omg! I showed this pic to the groomer at work and she's proud of you. ;) If only more people brushed their double coated dogs so well.

The other day I thought Keeva was getting chubby (she hasn't been going to work with me because she had a bit of kennel cough), She looked and even felt just a bit squishy for my tastes. I was ready to cut back her food. Well, then I bathed her/brushed her out, and she's still thin as a rail and rock hard. :lol-sign: It was all hair!!! Lesson learned...

Aww, well thank you! I really appreciate that!

Below is my attempt to get Boo to like me again after having to finish trimming her nails today! She had a blast.

PS - check out that video at 1:30 and tell me if you have a clue what my dog is doing!?
