What goes best on fries/chips?

Fries, Mayo, Ketchup (preferably CURRYketchup... oh nomnomnom), and ONIONS!

Nothing, nothing is better when it's 4 a.m. and you're drunk and need a little something in your stomach before taking the first tram home. Hmmmmm.

Salt and vinegar and/or tomato ketchup depending on how nice thy are.

Salt n' vinegar, honey mustard, spicy ketchup...all with a liberal dusting of black pepper on the fries themselves.

I wanted to vote malt vinegar AND Frosty.

I like mayo sometimes, not all the time. Sometimes I like to mix ketchup with either mayo or mustard.

But if I had to pick only one forever, it would be malt vinegar.

If that isn't a option, I eat them plain. Then again... I don't eat fries very often at all, lol.

Get some vinegar and splash it on your fries I used to make a little puddle and dip them, but with GOOD malt vinegar I just pour it all over the fries. Depending on how sturdy the fries are you may need a fork.

I just have to say mayo seems such a strange thing to put on fries. Everything else seems 'normal' lol.

Mayo is yummy on french fries! And burgers! Though totally unhealthy. lol

I don't find mayo (if its real) unhealthy.. but I like it with tuna, not fries Fries have enough grease on their own.

When I ate mayo and ketchup, I'd eat mayo if I wanted something less tangy (actual mayo, not that salad dressing/miracle whip crap), and ketchup if I wanted tangy. But vinegar is better

I do love tuna in a can with mayo though.

I like vinegar and salt the best, but usually will eat them plain or with ketchup.

When I'm feeling really junk-foody, I'll go for a poutine!

Well, the tastiest thing is cheese, bacon, and bleu cheese or ranch dressing.

But, failing that, good barbecue sauce works too.

Erm, never had fish and chips, and I don't usually get fries, but when I do I dip them in honey mustard or ranch.

Oh, and checker's fries are the best in the world, and can't be beaten. It's also considered a crime if you dip them in something in my head.

I have never heard of putting vinegar on fries....

I usually just use whatever is available- ketchup, BBQ, honey, ranch, gravy, cheese- those are about the usual. Never use mayo on fries or mustard.

My last batch of fries I ate with gravy mixed with ketchup. lol
