Or maybe I should call this 'So you think you want a Hank?' :p

Hank has the worst bark. Or one of them. I need to get a video of the scream but I haven't gotten that just yet.

My family says I have a knack for choosing dogs with horrible voices.

So yeah... let's hear your dogs!

Mia's voice is also pretty horrible. And very frequent.

I don't have a video of Summer, which is funny because she's really loud. Probably the barkiest.

I don't have the video that I want for Pox -- it's very similar to Hank's.

This is all I have on my computer right now

Meg sounds like an almost-hound. It is pretty much her only sound (other than angry yelling at stupid dogs who try to touch her). You can hear her amidst the rest of the chaos here:

Gusto makes a whole plethora of weird noises. I don't have my favorite of his recorded anywhere. His "alert bark" when he sees dogs walking by the house or something is the quietest, least offensive bark ever. It quite literally sounds like a person saying "woof" in a normal speaking voice. It is so cute. I wish Meg were so quiet and inoffensive when barking.

He also hums when he's excited and restrained, which I find hysterical:

And mostly, he loves to make alien noises while training. He used to be SILENT when I trained him. Then I taught him to bark on cue, and now he not only barks, he groans and growls and is incredibly annoying and also so cute it is stupid:

Leo doesn't bark frequently enough for me to have any video of him. He maybe barks once every couple of weeks? When he does, I don't even recognize his bark, thats how infrequently it is.

Jackson's bark depends on the situation. It's usually extremely shrill and ear piercing at my dads house, very obnoxious horrible noise. I'll have to see if I can find a video.

Apparently when I ring my own doorbell Abrams will alert bark, but he doesn't roar. I also discovered the ringing sets him off, but when he doesn't hear anyone on the porch he holds a pretty good sit/wait for me to open the door vs being a complete asshat. Haha

I'll have to upload the video though, and I think I have another that shows some of the random noises he makes.

I know I've got more videos around somewhere, but here's Rigby asking for breakfast.

Rigby has the widest vocal range of my dogs. She's got the "talking" or seal noises when she's happy or wants something. A really annoying, but almost raspy (it doesn't echo) bark when she's excited. And a terrifying mean bark when she's alert, holy crap it's so much different than the other barks.
Oh and she can't actually growl.

I played through all the videos and she only perked up for Mia's crate one :p

Cobain's also a talker. He's got a bit higher of a bark than I would expect out of him.

Ruby screeches and screams and has a very annoying bark. Also makes monkey noises when she's in the car.

And Oz is a beagle. Typical beagle sounds.

These are so funny! And yeah, those cattle dogs have the shrillest bark. Listening to them wait to work livestock is ....... interesting. LOL!

My shih tzu has a typical small dog bark. Mostly only hear it when the doorbell rings.

Louis, the Bouv puppy, almost never barks. And doesn't make any other sounds. Like, ever. Never whines or cries. Apparently he howls a little when I leave on occasion, but that's it.

He "beware - you are not supposed to be here" bark is LOUD. And ferocious sounding. Thankfully we are almost never subjected to it. It makes me jump out of my skin if I'm not expecting it.

Why on earth would you want to hear this?

Cohen sounds almost exactly like Lancer, maybe a little bit higher.

Lancer doesn't exactly bark at the doorbell when I'm home, so there needs to be something REALLY exciting/obnoxious going on for me to record his beautifully loud voice.. LOL.

Trying this again, here is my 40lb yapdog:

This is so surprisingly cute hahah- what a 40 lb squeaker.
