Well I checked out Chaz today, and I have realized, I should not have gotten so mad over other’s degrading assaults at some of the members here.

I really just hate when people are so intentionally insulting, Although it was only a couple of the members. Maybe not even that many.

So, I would like to apologize for my rant in one of my posts.

I think I have experience and knowledge, and love to talk about dogs. (Just my opinion)!! So I have that in common with most of you.

I guess some people just have some problems that flow over to everyone that they come in contact with. And I from now on, will not be taking that personally. They may have a personal problem, but I know it is not mine.

I really enjoyed the short time I have been a member of this forum, and I will not let rude people ruin it for me, anymore.

So I am Back!!

I'm glad you're back

I think we've all been pretty irritable lately... I totally understand what you've been through though. It's pretty irritating to try to give advice and be insulted in return. But yeah, we should all try not to take it personally, but stay open to criticism.

I still enjoy the forum a lot, even though some comments have not made me quite welcome lately... But I won't go anywhere unless it gets out of hand. I think everyone has useful input here.

I tried to leave to Julie. A poster had made me mad by passing judgement on a new member far too quickly. I left for a few days, okay maybe it was hours, and came back. I apologized for my hastiness and I am not going to let a few bad apples ruin the great experience that is Chazhound!

I know I can get a little testy sometimes, I think only when I feel like Im being attacked by someone. I try to ignore it though (sometimes cant control myself) and post my opinions/advice. once people start getting nasty others quit reading and might miss something helpfull, so I try not to get upset. I apologize if anything I said contributed to your feelings. for the record...theres not a single member I have talked with here that I dont like, I even like the people I who have gotten mad at me and who have made me mad at them.

You know, it's hard to let someone disagree with you when you are very passionate about your beliefs. But that's what debate is, just different opinions given in a civil manner. No one can take it personally, and all of you have to learn to keep the emotion out of your discussions so everyone will gain knowledge and respect everyone else's right to their own opinion. I know it's not easy, I've been slammed several times for something I believe is a correct training technique for me and my dog. It works for us but may not work for anyone else, but hey so what, it worked right? So let the mad go and have fun here that's what these places are meant to be for..

All true. I don't mind reading about different techniques, (even though I'm usually itching to point out problems!) but I really do hate the people who believe their judgement is final, they know everything and are the all time masters of anything dog related! I believe there is always something new to learn. Phew, end of rant.
