WHat do you think of EVO?

    What do you think about the protein levels in EVO? I'm just doing some digging to satisfy a curiosity.

    Nothing wrong with them, unless a dog has kidney disease.

    High protien is only bad when mixed with high carb. EVO is high protien, low carb. :) The only worrisome thing about EVO is that it's very high in starch and ash content, but hey, that's better than what's wrong with most kibbles. Another kibble that is no-grain is Nature's Variety Raw Instincts.

    Evo isn't high in starch content. That's only 12%, most other kibbles run far above 40%.

    The ash content is high because connective tissue, bones and cartilage replace much of the starch that would otherwise hold the kibbles together.
