This is my heart baby at work. We have him down as a shepard/husky mix, but that doesn't seem quite right. He is very petite, he only weighs about 40 lbs. His chest is deeper then is common for either breed. His toes are slightly webbed. No slope in his back like a shepard. The fur is a little shorter than either breed also. He seldom barks. He has a rather unnerving stare, kind of like border collie. He accepts affection more than he appeals for it, except with a few people he has closely bonded with, although this could be from being neglected. He is almost catlike at times, he is very clean and extremely quiet. He is great with other dogs and with cats. Any other suggestions, or is he just an odd little shep/husky?

The working line Sibes have a shorter coat, they are very cat-like in many ways especially being fastidiously clean animals, they have webbed toes for staying on top of the snow, they range in size from 40-60Lbs, and generally are very quiet dogs though they will talk and howl some more than others.

I'd say GSD x Collie (the face and body remind me of a Collie while the colors and other attributes look like GSD)

Thank you all for your replies. The point has become moot, as Patriot went to his new home today. *sniff*. It's so hard to see them go sometimes.
