Josh has to work, so we went to dinner and watched a movie on Sunday. Hopefully he will get me chocolate. Because, I really want chocolate. Other than that, I don't think we have gifts or anything planned.

I justified my new Elite Field Soft Crate as my Valentine's Day gift.

Does this look appropriate for a Kiwanis Club Valentine's Day Dinner party? Probably full of old people? The dress has zippers all on the front you can't see in the photo (and aren't very obvious with the sweater) but it's kind of..."club-ish" I guess? But I think if wear tights and the sweater it's ok? Or is it too short/lowcut anyway?

There'd be no problem with somebody wearing something like that to my work, which is all old people (I work at a legion... a place for war veterans). It wouldn't even be considered weird, really.

I'm not crazy about Valentine's Day, but I have a new boyfriend and the other night I mentioned off-handed that I like wine and chocolate, so he said that he knows "what he's doing Thursday". So I guess we're having wine and chocolate! You know, after I use him to practice my presentation of a paper on the genetic signals of latent HIV infections.

Note because it's Vday, but because it's "yay, shortly work day" day. Aaaand hair day. I am still contemplating what color I want. I want a pretty red, just not sure if I'm brave enough.
