I have no idea! If we do anything at all, it probably will be on the weekend. Unless my husband has some super secret plans, which I don't really anticipate or expect.

I despise Valentine's Day :)
I can't say I really despise it myself... I just don't really have any use for it lol.

But it's much more fun when there are kids around to celebrate with. Doing the kiddie stuff like handing out Valentines and doing valentines related crafts and having a little party is fun :)

Hannah really wants pink flowers for Valentines day this year lol so I'm sure Brian will pick some up for her Valentines present and my MIL sends a valentines box. IMO, Valentines was always for the kiddies :)

So when you're an adult, is wearing red to a dressy Valentine's day dinner party cute and festive or cheesy and lame?

Totally festive. If it's a valentine's party, I would expect people to wear red. I am wearing red on Thursday (with cute little heart earrings!)

We made plans to go to dinner, but then I realized it's the night of the school play and I really want to go support the students. Soooooo I think we're going out to early pizza and then watching 13 year olds perform "Bye bye birdie", lol.

I asked the BF to take me to my first dog event next weekend. It's being held in the town we're moving to this summer, too! Probably going to look around, get some dinner, go to the event, maybe buy some dog stuff, go home. It should be a nice day. :)

He owes me since he got me NOTHING last year. Not even a freaking card. :p

I think we are just going to do a dinner at home.

February is a BUSY time for us because it's also my husbands Birthday AND our Anniversary..lol

It's his 30th Birthday this year.

It's pretty funny because we also bought our house in Feb and TMI but it's also when we got pregnant must of been from all the celebrations :rofl1:

Quiet you--I'm due to "start" Thursday. Happy Valentines Day to me-lol.

We went out to dinner and to a cozy bed and breakfast Saturday night to celebrate. It was a total surprise for DH--I didn't tell him until that afternoon! I have a card for him and will leave it on his car seat along with a couple of Reece's hearts. I might get him some festive boxers too. We'll probably have a nice dinner at home. Maybe I'm weird, but I like Valentines Day. :)

We never do anything, but this year he wanted to take me out for dinner on thursday, but I said "Hell no! Too busy" and he looked rather disappointed...so I'm surprising him with a box of cookies I made and decorated, and I think I'll write him a little letter. We're also going to have an "in-home" date night, so it'll be a nice evening, just the two of us.

Nothing. Thankfully ended up in a relationship where I say "I absolutely hate days like Valentine's day, do not get me any thing especially not something awful like flowers" and he doesn't!

My husband doesn't drink much so I enjoy holidays when I can get him to drink, especially stuff he's not used to, like wine. Tee hee. He's adorable drunk.

Work. Then class. Then potentially having a movie night with my sister.

Valentines Day? Pffffft.

(Last year Mike wouldn't be my valentine. Doubt he'll change his bah-humbug mind this year, too. LOL)

Awwww, I didn't even think about that. *looks at white pills starting tomorrow* Gosh dang it.
