Hey everyone, I am Joey. I am owned by my 5 month old malinois Westin Dakota. Were a happy bunch with no lack of raw energy. Yes, we live in an apartment, but a very big one. We live right across the street from a HUGE park, where we spend most of our time. Our family consists of Westin, Cow (a 4yo blue healer who lives with/for my dad) my girlfriend and our cat Evolution.

Background on West: We got him from a breeder who is a good friend of mine when he was a little over 5 weeks. They also had the dad as well as a very sweet pitbull that clearly ran the show. So we scoop up west and take him home and introduce him to EVO, our cat. Bestfriends right off the bat. Really, the got along 10 times better than I could have hoped for.

Our activitys: We spend alot of time across the street at the park. Most days two to three hours, sometimes more. Its crazy how I never get sick of playing with him. Im amazed at how much stronger my arm has gotten due to throwing a tennis ball lol. He also has been crossbread with a fish, because keeping him out of the water is next to impossible. The first thing he always wants to do is go swimming. So he gets alot of baths lol.

Anyhow, this is my first post here so I wanted myself to introduce.... myself..

Welcome from my pack of Belgians :)

May I ask though, why your friend let him go at 5.5 weeks? I'm always curious when I hear of dogs leaving their litter so young. He's a nice looking boy, and I love your animals' names. :D

West was in a house full of dogs, 7 of which were puppies. They really had their hands full over there. The litter that West was in was not expected or planned, it just happened. They were planning to put an ad in the paper for free pups and keep them as long as they could. Also mom was sick and was not expected to make it. BUT when I saw him I knew he was gonna come home with us. Plus my girlfriend GUSHED over him. Its hard to say no to cute. :D

We have had to take care of 2 pups before that had to be fed in bottles. West had already been on puppy food though. So he was an easy sell.

The breeder is a very close friends mom, here in Dallas. She is a very cool lady, she actually gave West to us for free, just so he could have a good home.

We just took him to petsmart and put him on the scale.... 47 pounds and growing!!!

Also RAW starts today

Okay, that is quite possibly my new favorite puppy on this forum. When can I steal him? :D

awwuh, West is sososo freakin cute! I love his coloring, and his ears. =] Welcome to Chaz and good luck with Raw. My boys love it! I have a Border Collie, Gonzo, and a Corgi mix, Fozzie. I'm also jealous of your Mal, they are awesome dogs.
