With one of the pitbulls. I took Zeus with me and he hasent been there since our attack earlier this year. I just planned on taking him there with me to the feed store and just to walk about. All was going well until I assume someone recongnized Zeus (its a small town almost halph the population witnessed the account). And it was obviousely someone who thought Zeus, Tundra, Babe, and I deserved the attack we endured. Anyways we were walking back to the jeep when I hear someone yell hey to me. I turn and I see a woman and her husband the woman goes " you know dogs like that should be put down and never have to be dealt with in a public setting" mind you the whole time Zeus is just looking up at me like " mum? mum? I thought we were getting me a treat! mum?" lol. So I just say " you know people like you should never have to be dealt with in a public setting" well then the husband goes in at me and says " Your better to keep your pitbulls out of town their nothing but trouble and alot of people agree" . I simply responded with " I will be bringing my pitbulls into twon everyday now thank you (I really won't I can't) and walked away with my head held high.

I was greeted and talked by other people who were appalled at the couples response to Zeus (as alot of people know Zeus very well and know him as the sweetest dog they ever met). And so it was bittersweet but I won't stop bringing my dogs into town just because it makes people uncomfortable. I won't stop i will not deprive my dogs from socialization they need.

Do you know anybody in town that would meet you there..or a few people that would walk with you? put that pic of therapy pits or the pits and children pics on a t-shirt and wear it when you go. I found that people aren't so brave to be a$$e# when there is a crowd..especially if there are a few men with you. Just an idea but i would try it that way next time. Zuess needs to see this as well becuase tho you held your head high..i bet your adreniline was flowing and i think they can smell when their people are upset.

Good comeback!

EDIT: Did a quick search for that previous attack and came up empty. Could I get the Cliff Notes version?

Some like to be spoon fed their opinions and the actual facts arent going to change them.

WTF?!?! I think I would have come back after those kids with a baseball bat or a shopping cart or something. They are d*mn lucky your dogs aren't hairtrigger, because they were so asking for anything and everything that would have come their way. I hope some serious action was taken against those jackasses.

Wow, I feel like driving up there and beating the living h*ll out of those kids myself now.

Holy crap...... The fact that your dogs didn't munch on those kids speaks volumes.

It's always the dog's fault... Even when humans are the real menaces.

Too bad human eugenics are considered unethical and immoral. Some people could really use it.

I agree. We need a lisence to drive a lisence to get married and in some places a lisence to own a pet or own a gun. Yet anybody no matter what they are addicted to is allowwed to concieve and raise a child in conditions we wouldnt allow for our dogs.

Love was any legal action taken on those kids?

Can you give your Pits some extra ear scratchins from me? Okay and can you give Patak a bellyrub for the Mighty Mouse incident?

Just bear in mind that if they are ever involved in anything, this incident will be used to enhance their sentence. You DID make a difference. You stood up for yourself, your dogs, and everyone those kids have ever attacked. You've made it easier for the next person to stand up for themselves.
