Well, I want to switch the dog's food to innova, so I just put a little bit in their nutro tonightfor them to get used to it... Wow, they went totally crazy over it and finished their bowls in 30 seconds  They're usually picky, especially Boris. After that they went to smell the package in the kitchen trying to find out how to get in there (going to have to find a better spot for it lol), then I took them outside and picked up two pieces from the bag, and they both followed me to the usual room, even Boris who usually stays out because he knows I will close the gate after him. They got a piece each then were smelling the whole floor to find more.

So well, I think I can say they liked it :D

it's a good food and the dogs know it too. :)

my dog still likes both the regular innova and the innova evo, even tho he eats mostly raw. makes it easy for me to choose training treats. :)

So glad they liked it! It's really a good food for them to eat.

Shelby LOVES it. She used to eat Pedigree canned Beef & Rice and finally we got a free sample from a food store and tried it on her and she LOVED it so we went to that and she's been eating it ever since. My puppy's love it too, but they get Eagle Pack and they like that JUST AS MUCH.

I did a week or so with Bluedawg on the EVO, he scarfed it so fast and much in the mornings he would yarf it back up. I leave his food out so he can nible at his leasure, but in the mornings when I have to go to work he scarfs it so fast and after I let him run outside he comes back in and yarfs. This sometimes happens with what I have him on now.

Ive had him on Eukanubacrap before I was aware, and on Nutro. Both brands the scarf and barf. When Im home all day he dosent do the scarf and barf. I have him on Nutra Nuggets lamb and rice currently less scarf and barf nice looking coat good shiny eyes and an active pup. Ild like to have him on something like Innova but if he is doing the scarf and barf it would be a waste of money aint it?

blue, i'd just feed him out of a treat dispensing toy for the morning meal. that way he can only eat the food as the ball releases it. there are several models available, i have this one for my dog:

    http://www.ourdogsonline.com/index.php?section=31

i don't feed kibble anymore, but i bought that treat ball to keep quigley out of trouble when he was a puppy. it helped to redirect him from chewing power cords and other plastic objects, which was his favorite thing to do.

LEA, what do you want to hear, a bunch of advertising claims, or real facts? :)

Lea, the Innova was an easy choice for me. I read the label. It was easy to read - no chemicals, nothing like BHT or BHA . . . human grade ingredients, and none of the ingredients were disguised behind complicated, misleading names. It helped that I knew certain red flags to look for from all the human nutritional research I did when I was bodybuilding (like all those different names for sugar  ) When the EVO formula came out, the ingredient list was even better for building and maintaining healthy muscle tissue and sound organs. I also liked their company ethics and the fact that the company was willing to answer my questions by e-mail quickly and in plain English with no double-talk.

Then I found the Great Dane Lady's site and actually learned something about canine nutrition, lol, and was pleased to find out that my educated instincts had been correct. THEN I met Mordy, and learned even MORE!

I'd much rather you do some looking on your own, study at Mordy's site and check into Linda Arndt's site (www.greatdanelady.com) and learn how to make your own educated choices rather than just take someone's word for things. You'll be able to make good judgements on which claims are real and which are bogus. That way you're never at the mercy of advertising. ;)

Yes, it's the only food that I've found that gives a very plain and simple list of ingredients - chicken, chicken fat, cottage cheese etc... No conservatives whatsoever, none of those names you have no clue what they mean. Honestly, when I found the first bag, I looked for a long time for the ingredient description because that list was too simple, but that was it.

I'm not too fond of ads, but it's awesome to see an online store sell it.

Interesting. You carry some good quality foods, but you also carry Iams/Eukanuba.
