Teagan also does not like the Vacuum, I don't think she is really scared of it, but bloody hell she sure thinks it should die.

She likes to scream and attack the crap out of the vacuum cleaner.

Bees and wasps. If there is one in the house, she won't go near where it was for 3 days after. It started last year, so I'm guessing she got stung at one point last year.

Also, she is TERRIFIED if she has an accident in the house. Not sure why, but last time, she went outside, and lay beside the house in -40C temperatures, shaking, for 4 hours before I got her home and managed to get her inside.

Not really weird, but Lucy hates Henry Hoovers. Not Dysons, or any upright brand of hoover. Just Henry. I think its because he has eyes :rofl1:

(not sure if you have Henry Hoover outside of the UK, so for those who don't know what I am talking about...this is Henry Hoover - https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=...urce=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=o5yIT5T8H8-DhQf-gvnmCQ)

Todd's scared of normal things, like jets, helicopters, fireworks etc.

Katy is scared of mobile phones ringing. She HATES that, and tries to kill the phone.

Chloe hates baby gates, but that is because as a pup she had quite a few fall on her (due to her jumping on them). Other than that, she doesn't really have any weird fears, surprisingly. Well, she hates gunshots, fireworks, and thunder...but those are normal. Oh, she doesn't like the basement stairs. They're wooden steps that aren't carpeted (unfinished) and she HATES them. Every time we walk downstairs she stands at the doorway and looks at us with this horribly worried face.

As far as I've been able to tell, Cynder fears absolutely nothing.

But Sadie, the Lab pup we raised, had some weird ones. LOL Balloons being blown up completely freaked her out, she hated the smell of gas (from the stove) and consequently, the sound of the stove being lit (or a lighter). She also didn't like noise makers being blown (not the noisy ones...but the ones that you just blow air into and they shoot out a thing). She also hated barn fans. She was a completely stable dog and could tolerate anything in public with aplomb, but we always joked that she should never be invited to a birthday party. LOL

The only thing I can really think of are the metal air vents in the floor. There are two right in front of her favorite windows to look out of, so the only thing I can imagine is that she was focused on something outside, and the air turned on and spooked her. She won't avoid them and I've never seen her run away from them, she just glares at them from time to time.

Ivy was scared of a tomato plant in a plastic bag hanging from the mailbox:) We set it out for one of our neighbors to pick up and Ivy was convinced it was evil.

She boofed at it for a good 10 minutes before I went out to "help" her. I walked over to it and her eyes about popped out of her head..."MOOOOOOM, dont touch it!!!!!!"

I brought it over to the yard for her to check it out and she took off running. I had Marley come check it out and he was so confused...had no clue why I kept having him sniff the plant lol. Ivy eventually got brave and checked it out, but was still giving it the evil eye lol.

Recently you said Backup sounds like Stryder, right? Um... Backup is afraid of our baby gate. He has to RUSH through it, he hates walking through it and knocks it over all the time because he's running which I'm sure compounds the fear. (need eye roll smiley)
LOL this is such a classical "weird Belgian" behavior. They get worried about something and because they are worried about it, they behave in a way which causes exactly what they are worrying about to happen...then they're like "Ahhhhh I knew it!". And the cycle continues. Weird obsessive dogs.

Bamm is terrified of me cleaning the house. If I'm moving things around, doing laundry or dishes etc, his ears pin to the side of his head and he gets a really worried look on his face. Terrified of the vacuum. Turtles. Pinecones. Odd things on sidewalks or in roads that normally wouldn't be there.

Cricket hates disembodied voices. If she hears a person but can't figure out who its coming from she gets wide eyed and boofs or growls low. She is a little afraid of my snakes. Bags. People she doesn't know wearing hats, sunglasses or big coats with hoods.

I'm amused at the amount of dogs who are afraid of bags... they're toys to all of mine! lol Jess the Chihuahua will NOT let you unpack groceries in peace... she barks and tries to steal the bags (including dragging away a still packed bag! lol). The other dogs all race, so are used to seeing bags on the lure and get excited over them as well.

Ruger is DEATHLY afraid of the vacuum... which strikes me as odd, because he wasn't as a puppy! But now he'd jump out of a 12 story window to evade being in the same room as a vacuum! It doesn't even have to be running... just the sight of it sends him into a tizzy. The other dogs look at him like he's bonkers lol

Aside from that... No one is afraid of anything.

Olga, my English Bulldog, is petrified of windshield wipers. She will start yowling and trying to paw at them is you turn them on. She hates them so much, she started going after the TV when "Driving Miss Daisy" was on and there was a scene with them in the car with the windshield wipers on. She also hates automatic doors, so I guess they sound similar.

Nellie is afraid of anything new, and then she is okay after she realizes it's not about to sprout spikes and suck out her soul. Lasting fears though, are the vacuum, fireworks, and plastic bags, her weird one though is chewing gum. Only when it is in your mouth though.

Chulita, at 12 years old still hasn't gotten comfortable with the vacuum. She's not what I'd call afraid so much, but she does want to avoid it and gets on the furthest away part of the couch she can when I vacuum and looks a bit nervous. I think she just doesn't like the loud noise. She also doesn't much go for the karaoke machine. Even before there's music coming out, just when it's turned on, she goes away in dreaded anticipation. lol

I can't think of anything much that Jose` is afraid of. If I think of something, I'll be sure to return and tell you all about, as I'm sure you'd all love to hear all about my dogs.

Floors! It takes Maya forever to get used to a new floor surface. Carpets are fine, linoleum is kind of OK, and hardwood is evil. WHen we take her to someone else's house, she is very very careful about where she will step.

Even at home, the living room has hardwood, but also has area rugs....she goes from rug to rug, and tries not to hesitate on the wood. If she unexpectedly finds herself with all 4 paws on the wood floor, she will look around, and then back up onto the nearest area rug. It is really funny to watch!

Nikki had so many weird fears. The main ones were bubble gum, sticking your tongue out, and farting noises. If you farted around her or made the noise with your hands or mouth, she would get this mortified look on her face and leave. :rofl1:

Summer is weird about some things. Unfortunately she gets scared if I throw anything at all that is anywhere near her general direction. That is not too bad except she includes tennis balls being thrown for Mia in that. So if we play ball inside, Summer usually hides behind me. Kind of makes me feel bad.

Mia is sometimes spooky about things but they're usually normal things.

I just spent way too long trying to figure out if Jess is the chihuahuas name, or you're talking to me...
