Maybe one day I will go through all the boxes and see what I've got. I'm interested now!

I actually used to LOVE doing calligraphy, and I would write letters to my grandma with all my cool pens.

As for my PawPaw's and Dad's pens, two are in there that came with separate ink containers. At the time I thought it weird, but I guess that's a good thing?

ETA: I have NO idea of brands, but some actually seemed heavy-ish (if that even means anything). Sheesh. Now I really wanna track that box down...

Depending on the pen you may not want to do calligraphy. A lot of writing nibs aren't really flexible enough to see differences in line thickness.

What do you mean ink containers? Do you mean like bottles or ones that go into the actual pen? They might be converters. Or I think some of the older ones used a bladder to hold ink in.

Lol we do! And I love it. Kinda funny it's in a spam thread though lol.

I don't think I know enough to identify a pen by pics but I can definitely sit here and be jealous XD so do pics if you can!

If you do want ID info try the site I said earlier. The people are super nice and knowledgable about the pens and could probably tell you more. The were even nice enough to ooo and ah over my $20 pen and these are people with $200+ pens.

The ink containers were more like bottles. I had/have NO idea how they work.

As for calligraphy, I learned my lesson a long time ago about trying to do it with "regular" pens. Lol
