I have been having a great week, but......

Today is going to bite, I could not/ would not resist Hub's homemade Rappie Pie....

It's pretty well all potatoes and will likely be a cheat I pay for, but I can deal with that for this, would not cheat for much else but mmmmmnnnnn!!!!

ohh another pound gone! I feel like the amazing shrinking woman from some 60's B film lol.

I ate so much yesterday! I made flax muffins, bite sized blueberry cheesecakes, plus two mini ones for dessert. We had tacos with out the shells mmmmmm

Lost 1/2 pound this past week. Which I am taking as something good as I gained about 2 pounds being "that week". *stabby stabby die*

Congratulations everyone!

I'm still plugging away at losing those 8 lbs I gained in the last couple months. I am down about 2-3 lbs of that. But then there's more to get off after that. It doesn't help that my daughter and niece came up this weekend and together with my daughter's Dad, we went out for pizza and beer and then more beer and whiskey at at karaoke bar. OMG! That's a lot of calories! At least we danced and "exercise" danced....moves that are more like calisthenics.:D(Dad was the designated driver)

CONGRATS to everyone for doing so well! I love Fran's gifs!

I fell off the wagon for part of the weekend. I had Mexican food last night (chicken enchilada, chicken soft taco, rice, beans) and didn't have the courage to step on the scale. Haha.

I already have lunch and dinner planned out for the day... lunch is 300 calories, and dinner will be shrimp cocktail and salad with 45 calorie/serving dressing (it's SO delcious! Bolthouse Farm blue cheese vinegarette).

I'm going grocery shopping today, too, so that will keep me from eating out until next weekend where I'll try to keep my "cheating" to one meal. I eat healthy for the most part- my weakness is portion control and carbs.

Up until starting a medication 3 years ago, I could eat whatever I wanted without gaining weight. It's so frustrating (and I'm not used to!) having to watch portions/calories/carbs/etc, etc.

I ate out so much yesterday. A waffle for breakfast, two mochas, a McDonalds grilled snack wrap AND a Carl's Jr mushroom burger.

Bad me. Bad me.

TODAY I DO BETTER

I puked up everything I ate in the past 24 hours first thing this morning :( I've lived off of ramen all day, which is terrible, but it's all I could stomach. Oh, that and blue Powerade Zero.

Bleh. My brother is remodeling the bathroom, so Saturday we were without power for about 12 hours, which means the fridge wasn't running. I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning from the epic steak, bacon and cheese wrap I made for lunch Sunday. But it was SOOOO GOOOOD lol.

I did okay today... as far as eating. It wasn't my best day, but wasn't the most terrible either. I'm still proud of myself for only drinking mostly water :D No soda or sweet tea (and I LOVE sweet tea!), I just need to drink some more water throughout the day and I'll be good to go.

Me and Harleigh walked 2.15 miles, then went to agility for an hour or so. Tomorrow we'll walk again, play around outside and then I'll be doing some stuff on the Wii Active. I'm also looking into getting started on P90x, my friend has it and she says it is awesome.

Wow, why am I just seeing this thread? -out of the loop-

I've been just okay, had a bad day on Saturday - ordered Dominos pizza and drank soda. So let's just pretend Saturday never happened, lol.

Tonight I made myself just a chicken breast with some lemon pepper and olive oil and a bit of whole wheat brown rice. I had a smoothie for lunch and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Not terribly bad, and definitely WAY good for me and my typical terrible eating habits. Oh and I ate one of those 100 calorie snack packs.

I haven't weighed myself in a while, so I think I will wait until Friday to do that.

Oh, also want to add, I did a 45 min walk today with the dogs and just did about 45 mins of dancing on Wii with the Michael Jackson dance game and I am sweating like crazy! My little 4 year old sister was loving every minute of watching me dance like crazy. ;)

Didn't get much done today and only walked 2 miles with Harleigh, but soon I'll be making my route longer and/or adding jogging back in.

In other news.... I feel like such a bonehead :rofl1: I've been saying that when I get my refund back from my school that I'm going to renew my gym membership here in town.

Well I totally forgot that my school has a gym and I can go there - all I need is my student ID and class schedule, then I'm good to go. LOL :D

I'm jumping on the bandwagon. I was at my ideal weight last spring but moved to a house with no kitchen, quit going to the gym 9 months ago and I've pretty much gained everything back. I need to work on eating throughout the day, I've been pretty bad about not eating anything until I start to slow down at 7-8pm and realize that I'm starving.

I got a fitbit pedometer this weekend and it's pretty neat. It helps to make exercise a game (with goals, badges and activity points), which is exactly what I need.

Sooooo....... I thought I kinda had an "off" week last week at only 2.8 lbs.

My weigh day is Sunday mornings (I always weigh in the morning after the morning potty break and before eating/drinking anything). However, yesterday as I was gathering towels to wash, the scale was beckoning me. I thought, "A few tears never hurt anyone. What the heck....", and I stepped on the scale.

WOWZA! I hit the 20 lb mark!!! I've lost 20 lbs in less than 3 weeks!! And it's not even Sunday yet! It's absolutely crrrrazy!

I'm so happy with the insulin resistant/diabetic route of Weight Watchers I am doing. I'm also exercising at leat 4 days a week.

Oh, and I've now dropped a full 3 sizes!
