That is a great pic. Have I mentioned how much I love the name Dante? I may have to steal it for my next boy whenever that is. :)

Excellent news,, wish we were so lucky one of our pups we kept, ears have not come up yet :( we are now thinking of taping them, but they will become intresting new chew toys for the other pup that we have, been told they could still arrive but as he is now nearly 16 weeks old I am starting to get concerned,

Moe, I've heard that some pups can take as long as 7 months before their ears come up, but since he is my first GSD, I don't know much about that and am anxious to get those ears! Every time I walk him people ask me what type of dog, I say a GSD, and they say "I've never seen a GSD pup look like that, he looks odd", which is a little heartbreaking when I'm so excited to have him. Hang in there!!!

We are always hearing people say to us "what a pretty Lab!", now that is very upsetting. Here she is with this fluffy tail that curls up on her back, fluffy butt and hind legs, the all black tongue, but she's short haired and those darn ears flopped. Right after a bath and I brush her out, she looks so wide, so chow. But that last only a few hours before her fur flattens down again. Its still alittle upsetting having people call her a lab. But I still look at her as my pretty little chow even though she'll never have the look of a show dog.
