On/For Mitsu.

I know for right now she can't handle alot. Mainly because of her heart and because she is pretty out of shape from being locked in a kennel 24/7 till she was 4 months old. But I am hoping as she gains more strength she will start to handle alot more.

But since she is getting healthier she can handle a lot more than when I first got her home when a 5 minute play session would tire her out. And now she can play hard for a solid 15-20 minutes with my SIL's puppy and she might be tired after, but its not the hard labouring breathing she was doing before. And her recovery is alot shorter and not as severe when she does have a breathing spells. And I should add her back legs/hips are getting alot more stable as she is gaining muscle. YAY!!!

Oh and she is now a tad over 5 months and 42lbs.

Now I know she will never be a hiking dog, but it would be nice to build up her strenghth hopfully so we could go on nice walks and what not. Ideas on how to do this. Where I should start??

If not I even rolled the idea in my head of getting a wagon for her and put her in for when I take Teagan on walks and its too much for her.

Honestly, I would keep doing whatever you are doing. Free-choice exercise is the best exercise for any puppy. Forced, extensive exercise can lead to joint problems and if she is having hip problems already you don't want to push it.
